Richard wrote a script for me to use in my Waterloo scenario so that the Prussian unit arrive over a range of 2-3 turns. If you look at the Waterloo BSF you should find the relevant code.
Good luck.

Re: Big Infantry Units
I don't know anything about sf4 models and alpha textures but if you just use paint.net (a free app) you can open - say - the Colonela in Unit Textures then simply erase the pikes, save it and you're there. Same with Keils, etc. You can see an example in Borodino, or most of the other Napoleonic bat...

Re: Fatigue
I remember one set of wargames rules claimed that modern studies have shown that fatigue and fear in battle are largely the same, so make of that what you will. I think that SnuggleBunnies is correct in that an attempt to introduce any sort of sliding scale for individual units to model fatigue woul...

Re: Looking for resources on Elizabethan army.
Small chapter in George Gush's "Renaissance Armies" covering both Henry VIII and Elizabeth's forces which you can now find online. The chapters on Irish and Scottish armies may also be useful. No titles immediately spring to mind but several books covering the Armada include sections on th...

Re: Works in progress
Minden 1759 A.D. will be my next offering, just got to work out how best to simulate Lord Sackville refusing to commit his cavalry (when any sane wargamer surely would have).

Re: Post here links to the MP scenarios you have created
Can do, but you understand that it won't be exactly the same units as when the German is the player-controlled side? Because humans are (nearly) always better than the AI it would mean making the Germans stronger somehow - numbers, morale, etc - otherwise they will move robotically forward onto the ...

I'll reduce the intensity of the frozen lake to Winterfell level, rather than actually north of the Great Wall.

Re: Four Seasons Texture Mod Pack - Released.
While I'm on the subject, does anyone know of a way to change the colour of the battle information text (Charge, Impact, Fall Back, etc?) Same reason as above, the default seems to be white which doesn't always show up well against the off-white coloured ice. I've searched 'fonts' on the Forum and n...

Re: Is there any plan on mid medieval, late medieval or even renaissance DLCs?
I agree with the comments re FoG II overall appearance compared to Pike & Shot. I much prefer the 'antique print' look - it can be a bit clunky but a 1,000 strong unit actually looks like 1,000 men and not twelve. The animations and figure detail in FoG II are extraordinarily good but is that (s...

Re: Four Seasons Texture Mod Pack - question
Hi Adebar, used these for several scenarios and they're very good. I'm now trying Lake Peipus, 1242 A.D., which means using the Winter mod, and I find the cursor that shows the potential movement path for units doesn't show up very well on the actual ice (because it's a white cursor on a very pale o...

Re: Battle of New Orleans scenario?
I know it's a famous US victory, but wasn't it largely the British walking forward against a fortified canal line along the entire front? That doesn't make for an interesting game, and there were less than 14,000 men engaged (combined, both sides). Often well-known actions, full of heroics and histor...

Re: Crecy 1346
Hi Richard. Thanks for the offer but I'm not sure that it's best if defenders never pursue, and the players know that they won't. I think that might lead to some iffy moves, safe in the knowledge that the longbowmen are rooted to the spot.

Re: Crecy 1346
Thanks for the comments. To be honest I don't know how to prevent the longbowmen from pursuing across their own pots. I think it's built-in to the underlying scripts (for that troop type if its enemies rout)?

Re: Works in progress
Going to try Fredericksburg, 1862 ACW, for the next offering. Gettysburg reversed to a certain extent.
