My wish or suggestion for the game is to name it properly: Panzer Korps 2. Given that it's not Tank Corps, I believe this is the proper way to go. Always irritated me.

This is an issue with virtually all Gettysburg games. So much emphasis on the historical objectives, when those were only objectives when the course of the battle made them such. This could apply to all battles, actually; there is nothing of strategic value of any battlefield terrain in any battle. ...

Frankly, people need to accept what this game is, not what they wish it to be. It doesn't purport to track casualties down to the man. Any attempt to do so given its system would be artificial.

The game concepts are different and there is much about the game that I like. BUT ... Rodes just arrived at hex C and went right through blocking units and their ZOCs on his way to Gettysburg. Rodes units seem to possess jet packs or some other device. Please let me know when these types of errors ...

By the way, here is a link showing all the Union Corps badges used later in the ACW.

Would be nice to use all of them accurately, rather than just some haphazardly.

Not sure why more accurate CSA designations aren't used either...

Union corps symbols

The Union I Corps symbol was a round disk or ball; not a star. The star was the symbol of the XII Corps, and it uses the star symbol too [correctly] in the game. Since the game uses the other corps symbols, like the crescent moon of the XI Corps, I assume the game's intent is to use the actual corps...

Victory conditions?

The game says this scenario is a Draw. How is this not a CSA victory? CSA victory condition is far exceeded; USA victory is not met.

The pricing of the game at $9.99 suggests otherwise to me, even if this initial version is on the PC at the moment. I expect tablet versions to follow. A real full scale sim of Gettysburg on the PC would be in the $40-$50 range. I'm not necessarily against FOW, I'm just cognizant of the class of gam...

I don't believe the other Shenandoah games have FOW, do they? These Ipad type games are more games than high detail simulations. That has been my impression of this line. As such, I'm not as critical on "realism issues" as I am with full-on battle sims. Am I misunderstanding what kind of game this is?
