It won’t be updated until next year. The digital league will be using 1.7 from Oct - Dec. The current version still works right? It worked during the beta.

Shock cavalry against medium foot does seem underwhelming regardless though. I mean irregular foot losing only 1 in 5 times on impact seems a bit low Agreed. Disciplined heavy foot is one thing, but irregular foot is something else. If cats can't be counted on to smash irregular foot pretty regular...

My problem with these guys is they stick around for the melee. The get easily flanked or fighting effectiveness wears down in the melee.

There is already a “remove the head mode” in multiplayer. Sudden death when C-in-C dies. I don’t think it’s popular.

Should the hemet design be nation specific or any nation can have 25% of the same helmet? Because many nations use the same shield wall unit.

Yes. shooting through gaps is a way to use the archers. Another way is to find some elevation. Back row archers are placed higher than melee foot in front of them. The game seems to have this design philosophy where the actual “shooting form the back” tactic is implemented through mixed units. Facti...

Historical battles and campaigns can have a scaling factor (designer’s choice) such that total man count in the battles mimic historical levels. This is done to keep unit count in check. Else we will have so many units to push around on the field if we kept to default man count.

Warhammer 40K Sanctus reach uses the same engine.

Archon is an evolution of Battle Academy Stub engine. Used by Battle Academy, Pike and Shot, Sengoku Jidai, Hell.

Ahaha. East Asia is nice, but I am afraid that all models would be new that it won't come true in near future. I bet next one be crusade DLC that we can utilize many models we already have in the new army lists. I don't know if 1000BC to 1000AD East Asia dlc would require more new units than WatG. ...
