yes, he seems to use the mod described in the post above... now i'd like to understand if playing this game could damage my files

scripts don't match

in a game just begun i've got a message of warning from the system saying the opponent's scripts don't match mine and that i should report this in the forum. What does it really mean? It's a friendly historical game (Frigidus), no tournament match.

You should check Turn Status to see if it's a turn with initiative or not.
As I said, in five games (different scenarios) i never saw that happen. I'm going to try a campaign game now...

Another game played to completion and still neither side ever had the initiative. I suppose this rule, though important, isn't in force (in the version i'm playing on Steam). It's several games now and i haven't seen a single occurrence of this feature.

Initiative

In the 4-5 games i played until now (both as USA and 7 or CSA) i never had the initiative (having the possibility to choose when to play the combat chit). Am I missing something?

well, i'm currently playing this one in MP mode and find that giving defensive spears to the roman HF makes the battle rather static. Also, i was convinced that the auxilia could be better represented by superior MF, but i could obviously be wrong.

While waiting for the "new" FOG, i've added a new battle to my "War of the Lombards" series. Best played as the burgundians against the (Lombard) AI or you can use the optional rule for a better balance. it's a pity BGs retreat in the wrong direction...that one can't set the direction for each unit is a known shortcoming of the design tool, but in this case you could rotate the map 90 degrees

i use dropbox, others will prefer different tools...it's really simple, once you have your nwe scenario folder ready, zip it and put it into a public folder... maybe you should be more specific with your question

Version 3.0 has the papal forces much stronger than they really were; i just finished a paired game and both gos were won by the popists 56:100. This one surely needs further adjustments, sorry. also, i think that light infantry as impact foot is an oxymoron (except for very special cases)
