My issue is not with FoG. I am more than willing to pay for a colour book of this standard. I was trying to punch a hole in the arguments of MSSA who use the (IMO illegal) 'free' copies of DBM rules and list books as a reason to get people to play DBM over FoG . I wanted to know if they are right in...

Hey. Copying FoG is a nono I understand but I thought seeing as there are people here who understand the lagality of the issue I might as well ask this question. The major opposition to FoG in South Africa argues that the books are too expensive (yet I own 4 list books so far and the rules) and that...

18 BGs!?

That is nothing short of criminal sir! May I ask what army it is? Due to the status of FoG in RSA I have only played against maybe 5 different armies of which the largest had 14 BG.

Very very nice! Definitely one of the best first attempts I have ever seen. I would have no problem playing against this (and I hate playing most starters due to shoddy painting!). A friend of mine is painting up Han, mind if i FORCE him to have a look at yours?

Once again nicely done :)

Games in South Africa (Foreigners welcome too :) )

Hey to all South Africans (or other player coming here for the FIFA 2010). I am based in Pretoria and am looking for anyone up for a game. After the world cup madness we hope to have a club going at the University of Pretoria and any FoG gamers are welcome. Feel free to contact me: acccipiter@mweb.c...

'andgunners

Hey there chaps, just a quick q on the little men with boomsticks. I have heard that you use em in groups of 4 to support shooting.

So if I get this right just slot em in next to my Jannisaries and let em blast away?

Here is a Camp I built today for Later Ottoman Turkish. When I hear Turkish I think Bombard but at the same time I did'nt want the camp to seem fortified so Its just a standard bearer and some dude :P. Figures are Essex Rennaisance Russians but I thought they looked fine for East European Turkish tr...

Best 15mm Ottoman Turks

Hi there

ATM looking at Essex, they beat Museum on size for me and Old Glory because the Essex horses for the Sipahis and Serbs have barding or armour (Its pretty :) ).

Anyone know of better 15mm Ottomans?

Cheers

TBH I prefer tin foil flags, they appear much more natural as you can bend them nicely to look like wind is blowing them. Downside is you need to paint them yourself. Otherwise I have seen some nice flags made in Photoshop C4.
