is this available only on steam?
At the moment it is. When the balancing part and the resources are setup I will provide a dropbox link.
I will let you know in the forums.

Re: Unit Attribute Spreadsheet

I looked at putting the info into a table in the wiki, but as far as I could tell there is no way to import a table into the wiki, and would have to enter all of the data by hand again. Having entered all of the data by hand once into the spreadsheet, I'm not eager to do it again. I'm happy to post...

Re: Unit Attribute Spreadsheet

I wonder if we do not use Wiki for this and when it's not a real guide on Steam if it not dissapears between all forum theads.
For me it's worth a sticky, or a normal post within a documentation sticky eventually.

Re: Peloponnese scenario

I'm afraid I just haven't managed to get Steam and Aggressors to link up. I've subscribed to several scenarios but there's something I'm not doing and Steam gives me no clue as what that is. So I'm afraid I've rather given up on Steam. To link up Aggressors with Steam, you actually need to activate...

Re: Peloponnese scenario

Now that the map creation tool is out I done a scenario covering the Peloponnese and have uploaded it here: http://kart-hadasht.co.uk/game/aggressors/peloponesesmall.php It is playable but all the flags etc are the same as the original scenario and the only faction that is the same is the Spartans....

Re: [MOD] Alexander the Great

Thanks, I understand that this must be a huge undertaking. Another thing that I noticed today is that when I go to the library and click on a unit, the game crashes. Keep up the great work. Thank you for reproting this. I see for me this happens when clicking units in the Map Items sub tab. As soon...

Re: [MOD] Alexander the Great

Enjoying the mod so far. One question, is the terrain assigned randomly? I ask because I was surprised to fine two desert tiles next to the city of Rome. Really love the scope of this huge mod. Thank you. Don't expect too much yet. Relations, objectives and everything are not set yet. It's in heavy...

Re: UI.

Good idea. There should be done more to make (hidden) UI functionallity clear to new players. It's a missed oppertunity if players stop playing Aggressors because of it. Share your ideas in forum and help to improve the game. The ten most asked questions are already covered in a FAQ: http://www.slit...

Re: Aggressors Testers Diary - Modding

Hi Dejvid2, we havent forgotten this promise! There have just been couple of important changes (foremost UI scaling and mouse control system) which we didnt initially have in schedule but they had to be done as priority. The tool is going to be ready soon! It is pretty much done and it is going thr...

Re: Why I absolutely hate Steam.....

Rage quitting Steam never results in revoking your bought keys. It is impossible. They are bound to your useraccount. Reinstalling Steam and siging in with your own username and password (Steam also have a support team if you lost access to them) makes you able to download everything again. If anyti...

Re: [MOD] Ancient Orient BC1000

Wonderfull job with updating your files. Very nice work. Your scenario is on my list to play when I get tired of modding myself, I of course already checked it out and readed your modder diary on Steam ;-) Maybe you can publish that one as a single text file in the Slitehrine forum as well. It's gre...

Gets better and better. I await your changes with bated breath ... well, not really. But with interest, for sure. Thank you, and before I forget I really like the feedback always, don't worry on how much work it is, it's always very useful and most of the time also a great reminder of what to do ne...

Re: [MOD] Alexander the Great

Hi Gwgardner, I pubished the scenario with almost the same settings as a general random map. Except that mine have unique tribes, a huge map, new terrain and other assets etc. The real balancing, finetuning and objectives are just about to begin: The scenario now starts in 336 BC. There are 36 turns...

Re: [MOD] Alexander the Great

Fabulous mod. Don't mind my small comments on graphics. You know from experience I have zero fine arts taste. To me the plains tile graphic looks like dried mud flats. You are right, the name should be changed. It's correct they are not plains. It's some half plain/half desert tile. Dried mud indeed.

Re: Disappointing Game - Regret My Purchase

@kool_kat, As someone who spend almost 1000 (!) hours in this game and also being an active modder I first want to say that I'm really disspointed that the game didn't grasp you from the very beginning. At the same time I can imagine what you write, since my very first experience with the game was t...

[MOD] Alexander the Great

Hi, I released a very early alpha version of my Great Battles of Alexander in Persia map. - 24 turns per year - 336 BC to 323 BC - 48 playable factions - Unique flags and coats of arms - New desert terrain - 144 x 69 size map of Mediterranea to India Feedback I ask for: - How is the performance? - I...

Re: How to install with Steam?

Sorry, but I'm much more likely to uninstall Steam than do all of that--I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the Matrix version about three times, the Steam version about ten times. The Matrix version works more or less fine, Steam is a steaming pile of $%#@. Also, last time I set the Steam e...

Re: How to install with Steam?

An hour ago, I would have said yes--I tried the Steam version again, and it worked--although note that when I tried to check the "admin" box in the Steam properties, I got some kind of error, so I unchecked it again. I've played quite a bit since then, but in the game I'm playing now--of course the...
