Wow the amount of work and time and dedication to make this tool must have been immense. Thank you very much for this tool!

Re: Purpose of the medical unit?

I loved the Medical Jeep in the Downfall scenario (invasion of Japan at the end of the US campaign), because it doesn't have the "Fleeting Presence" trait. I never used it to heal/repair units, but I capture a LOT of hexes with it, as it is quite fast and manoeuvrable.

Re: AI refuelling planes at airfields adjacent to player uni

Maybe the enemy planes were on their last turn of fuel

But yeah, generally this makes the AI look a bit out there.

Re: [Custom Scenario] Defense of Sanjay Island

Oh wow, I didn't except your suggestions to go into so much details :D Thank you very much for your very detailed feedback, with screenshots no less! Put the AA gun just outside of Sanjay City. That way, the city name is displayed during the briefing. The AA gun will not be any less useful outside t...

[Custom Scenario] Defense of Sanjay Island

Hello, Here's a small scenario I made this week-end. The objective is to defend a fictional island from a sizeable Japanese invasion force. If you're willing to try it, it should take you roughly 45 to 60 min to complete. Hope you enjoy, have a nice Sunday Screenshots: Preview: https://image.noelsha...

+999 best75. The developer diaires for Burma Road were fascinating and hugely contributed for my hype about that DLC.

Re: Burma Road so far...

While I can understand that having Tigers and Jets in this campaign can seem absurd (especially in a game called "Order of Battle"...), I'm not too bothered by it personally. And unless I'm mistaken (didn't make it that far yet), it only happens in one mission, right? Plus, this campaign is set in a...

Re: Burma Road so far...

I have to admit the game is more difficult than during beta testing. It's probably caused by fewer CPs during the first scn. In addition, the British infantry is probably weaker now. It seems to me that some rates have been reduced because they get a lot more damage, especially from the Japanese in...

Re: Burma Road so far...

As you see, tight formation. Open up just for the Indians to pass through. AT behind, use the river to your advantage. Spot with Spitfires, prioritise arty fire on difficult targets. Did this help? Thanks! Well my defensive line looked like suspiciously like this, except my units had far less HPs t...

Re: Burma Road so far...

@koopanique: I play at normal, too. I am not kondi. I can post a screenshot of my defensive position later on. Thank God i save obsessively. One arty is not enough, btw. Should be two. I'd like to have 2, and I had 2 at some point, but one got destroyed in the previous scenario (which was kind of h...

Re: Burma Road so far...

Whoa, that is strange. I experienced the complete opposite. For me, it was camping around the bridge rotating units in and out of the front line and hammering hapless Japanese with my heavy arty. They never bothered to attack my rear. Most challenging things was having a clear path trough my massed...

Re: Burma Road so far...

Well I've finished Sittang Bridge and it was one of the hardest scenarios of all for me. Spoilers ahead The Japanese have at least 3 tanks and many infantry that attack Sittang as soon as the player captures it. After a few turns of fierce defense, the hapless player must face japanese units trespas...

Re: Burma Road so far...

Sittang Bridge is hard. After the first Indian unit passed through, I retreated all my forces across the bridge too. I didn't expect a "2nd" Indian unit to appear. I though "1st Indian unit" was short for 1st regiment or something. I'll have to try again tomorrow. The Japanese have quite a force in ...

Re: Difficulty level

I don't know if that's just me imagining things, but I often get the feeling that the player has a boost in firepower compared to equivalent enemy units, even in middle-difficulty. I often deal 3+ damage, while the enemy only seldom does it. I should write down more specific examples next time I stu...
