Britcon 2019 Game 2 vs Early Successors

It’s Saturday morning and I’m up against Steve Brown of Plymouth using Lysimachid Early Successor. Steve is a very good player and ahead of me in the rankings going into the weekend. Steve has 4 x TC, 6 x 8 Pike, 2 x 8 Sup Pike, 2 x 8 Thracian MF HW, 1 x LH Jav, 2 x 6 LF Jav & 1 x 4 Sup Armd Cav Lan...

Britcon 2019 Game 1 vs Classical Indians

Britcon was any list from Book 1 so I expected to see quite a lot of Successor & Roman armies and I was not disappointed. I elected to take Alexandrian Macedonian as I had the army and I thought it had a good degree of flexibility. My list for all games was an IC, 2 x TC, 1 x 8 Pike, 2 x 10 Pike, 1 ...

Re: Britcon 2019 - What would you like to do?

Just wanted to record my thanks to everyone involved in making another great Britcon weekend happen - particularly to Tim Porter & Kevin Johnson. I had 6 very enjoyable games vs Chad, Phil, Steves Brown & Murton, Chris & David Fairhurst. I've got some new bad dice stories but you should always go ba...

Re: Bow* at impact

I think you need to recheck the errata Dave.

MF Bow* lose 1 dice per 2 'when support shooting from a 2nd rank.' In your example a 3 wide BG would gt 9 impact dice and 2 support shoot dice.

Re: BHGS Challenge @ UKGE 1/2 June 2019

Another great weekend's gaming - thanks to everyone involved.

Had 5 very enjoyable games vs Chad, David, Paul, Peter & Graham. The Yuan struggled at 800 AP and with a mis-firing flank march they may not be allowed back next year!

On to Devizes next - hope to see you there.
