Re: Could moving or charging route indication point be more bold?

Another additional thing are the question markers for suspected/hidden troops in woods. The 3d marker object is oriented in such a way that it is clearly visible, when looking at the map from button up ( so that one opponent is on the left, the other the right.) But if you look at the map over your ...

Too much work effort (development of rules, coding, ai etc.) for too little gain ("sometimes it's fun to just run people over").

Actually, it's Phil Barker not Don Featherstone. ("Ancient Wargaming", AIRFIX Magazine Guide 9, 1975)

Re: New Scenario: Panormus 251 BC, with City Walls!

I agree, map looks very nice. The walls can be crossed by units of both sides. This is intentional. Defenders are presumed to be using sally ports. Attackers have to be able to cross the walls, we can assume that they are using scaling ladders. This is how Heavy Fortifications work in P&S and SJ. Le...

The only games I know that allowed one to pick a pre made map for a random skirmish or campaign battle are the Steel Panthers games over at Shrapnel Games.
One can also do it in Battlefront's Combat Mission games.

Re: Table Top mod + (TTmod+): with a lot of new skins

So, I made a personal moded version.

For the current example would an abbreviation to "(K. Absitzen)" be acceptable?
Better just make it to "(A)". That's what you have already done with "Wilde Nomaden-Reiter mit Bögen (A)" in the Hun (Sabir) army.

Re: Text on maps

There is also a general problem with the size of text strings in the unit selection screens. It is especially annoying when playing the german language version, because of the long words in german language. Sometimes important information is cut off, like the '(können absitzen)' {=dismountable} of c...
