Re: Classical Antiquity divisions and army allocations

Oh well alphabetic order is better than um... more traditional ancient ways of trying to influence fate... :D

Re: Classical Antiquity divisions and army allocations

LOL this is the second time I ended up with my third choice. Lucky this time I put some actual effort into choosing it! I wonder perhaps if army choice is being done using player lists arranged alphabetically? I need to create a new account as Aardvark01 and not Zardoz02. :D

Re: Season 2 Tournament diary and news

It's OK to change my army preferences still? That's handy to know. What's the latest date they need to be finalized?

Re: Tides of Conquest Punic Wars campaign, singleplayer

Downloading the code to play with it. MonoGame looks really interesting; I'd not heard of that before. Sigh... so many opensource frameworks; so little time... especially if you want to actually play games too.

Thanks!

Multiplaying across versions

If I have P&S Campaigns, and another player just has P&S (i.e. the original, without any DLCs, upgrades etc), should we expect to be able to play against each other? Based on what we observe currently, the answer seems to be 'no'. What is the minimum that the guy with the basic P&S has to buy to mak...

Re: roguedjack's AI overhaul mod

Hmmm... I'm still getting this script error. I've got the program updated with the free patch released with Legions Triumphant, but haven't yet bought the DLC. There is nothing in my downloads area related to this mod so I'm assuming I've got the "latest". Do I need the DLC to get things working? ch...

Re: Multiplayer and firewalls

But the PBEM helper does not work behind our company firewall at least. Perhaps there is something other than port 80 happening in there?

Just an FYI - yes it works.
Modern firewalls I'm sure snoop on HTTP traffic but fortunately they're looking for pr0n and not phalanxes and warbands...

Multiplayer and firewalls

A quick question for your programmers. I'd like to bring the game to work on my laptop so I can knock out some turns during lunch. What TCP port(s) does the multiplayer engine use? The company firewall here has everything locked down tighter than a... um... a... Macedonian phalanx frontage......

Oh well. Maybe a feature request for the next version? I'll just have to study the POA tables a bit more.
