Re: German Campaign AAR

Hi NightPhoenix, thanks for sharing and the replay. Compared to your approach on Norway, I deployed more forces (heavy inf., eng. & med. arty) around Trondheim to secure and fortify this position from the beginning and used one Paratrooper unit instead to capture the northern airfield to be able to ...

Suggestion: train transports and efficiency

Suggestion:

I've always wondered why (at least infantry) units being transported via train do not regain efficiency on following turns.

Re: OoB Soviet Corps

Hi terminator, Played Kursk v1.04 just now. As always and first of all, thanks for this scenario. I really enjoyed it (again). There's always some fighting going on and always some enemy unit coming out of the fog of war whenever I think I could use a pause to regenerate and repair my units. Great. ...

Re: Too many commanders

Imprisonment looks indeed pretty although a terrible loss over more or less the whole scenario. How does such event happen? Was the unit completely destroyed? It sounds like a critical failure on the wounded-roll. I haven't managed to get such event while playing or testing so far. But I did. Twice...

Re: Germany Grand Campaign

You know, beta testers get a free campaign after testing is finished   . How about placing an armoured train early in the campaign and naming it something like "The GabeBrigade"... j/k  ...and here's a screenshot of something I mentioned before: Being around the GGC once, I knew t...

Re: Germany Grand Campaign

GGC general suggestions/observations: - I'd really like an armored train in my core forces way earlier, somewhere at the first BK39-40 part of the campaign (Please? :) ) - Really liked the air exit hexes in the scenarios, wish the devs would put them in the official missions/DLCs also - Being...

Re: Germany Grand Campaign

"38Brighton" - the sec. obj. "don't lose paratroopers" may have the same issue as I posted about scn. "14Albert" before (if a core paratrooper would've been killed at some previous scn.), didn't test it though - with the second wave of units arriving, I'd remove the "core" setting, as by that time, ...

Re: Unreliable too unreliable

After moving many Tigers around: Unreliable trait has a 50% chance to reduce efficiency by 2 points, no matter how far you move. If you additionally move more than one hex on terrain with disruption, like swamp and jungle, you loose more points of course. Nice. Thanks for testing. Seems a bit too u...

Re: Germany Grand Campaign

Some of the AI freezes are my fault. I cropped the larger Norwegian maps and a few AI spawned units lost their deploying location on the map edges  This is at least one cause. So far, I've just noticed those freezes on some of the "reworked" (e.g. Denmark) maps of yours, too. And have not enc...

Re: Germany Grand Campaign

Concerning my earlier post about scenario "16Sedan": I get it now. The trigger "capture VP" wouldn't work if the city has no supply and thus no marker.
(This was problably clear to you from the beginning...but it feels like a small breakthrough for me... :) )

Re: Germany Grand Campaign

GabeKnight This is a very useful test. Thank you. Look like I have to revisit most if not all of the scenarios in the campaign  ...you're welcome. But from my perspective, I still owe you. :) I've got time on my hands right now, so... I haven't decided if I'll move the border supply to objec...

Re: OOB Confidence over Time

Alright, alright... :) But come on, the way I understand it, someone has to report these issues back from this Slitherine forum to the Artistocrats already, right? And someone there has to collect them and preprocess them for the programmers. And this is being done already. So why not at least publi...

Screenshot 30.jpg Nothing very interesting. Mainly just like all of the official ...

Re: Bru's Scenarios

Unfortunately with these two scenarios, playing "straight up" from the German side is impossible (Britannia really did rule the waves, at least on the surface) and from the British side is just too easy or boring (such as "searching" for the German raider over vast seas). Hence, while I want to pay...

Re: OOB Confidence over Time

Speaking about Confidence... [...] It is pretty frustrating to have the community reporting bugs and issues and on the other hand having no reaction from the developers ... Seriously, a simple "will add it to the list. thanks for reporting" or something simple like that would really do wonders to s...

Re: Germany Grand Campaign

"30Channel" - you really took me by surprise with that large enemy attack force at one of the locations. Mean.... :) - in the briefing you say "fielding tanks for the duration of this mission is out of the question", but I still could deploy them without any problems (tested it) -> I have no ...

Re: Germany Grand Campaign

After "26Maginot": The campaign message box informing me that the campaign is going to split up and to save was great. My further sugguestion would be to use this mechanic in each branching event (you could easily use the same picture each time) and, if applicable, place the silver coloured markers ...
