So then, are Late Romans / Byzantine Skutatoi and similar Heavy Foot going to be given a missile capability due to their darts/throwing spears/javelins? Or is this subsumed in some other part of the combat, or considered non-effective anyway?

Routing Units

How are routing units treated once they have broken and started to flee towards their base line? It would seem strange that if a unit broke near the enemy base line it could rout all the way back to its own before dissappearing and becoming lost. So will we end up with special rules for special things, e.g. Valentine only gets to use scythed chariots on an odd numbered day but gets a positive POA on Thursdays and a negative POA on Tuesday, ala WAB. Something I will be very wary of.

Also haven't seen other stuff like fortified camps, plashed woods, stakes, chains, War Wagons, Scythed Chariots, caltrops, Chinese Thunder Bomb Oxen, rampaging elephants and Hostage Screens. Will we get these as well?
