Do you think it would be nice if those attacking animations came back from Panzer General?

With updates of course. Various animations if the defendant is not hurt at all, if dealt major damage, if it's utterly destroyed, if it routs. It would also be cool if the local terrain was shown as well.

I t seems like the AI is better at micro-managing than macro-managing. It certainly understands the mechanics of zones of control better than me, and can often put it's units in advantageous positions, but it often wastes units responding to diversions or less important parts of the battlefield. Not all units capture points. There's a "fleeting presence" trait on some units that prevents them that.

May be unrealistic, but is sound as a game mechanic. If you want to advance in territory, you have to field proper infantry (and/or armor) and push them in their pace.

Brilliant Spike. You're doing good work for the newbies around here, meself included. So, as I see it, the demolition is more of a scorched earth tactic, denying supply the enemy will inevitably take back. Suggestion for usage: - Send aerial reconnaisance into enemy territory, looking for undefended...

How exactly does the paratroopers' sabotage ability work?
The unit has to be next to the target depot? How many supply points does it damage, and for how long? Does the ability has a cooldown?

I hear Steel Division's AI is quite apt in the offensive side, but not so much in the defense (https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2017/0 ... 44-review/). Maybe the developers will learn with newer games.

Funny thing with the Sea Lion 42 scenario----- A Marginal ends the Campaign Immediately while a Loss sends you to Italy where up to 5 more Scenarios wait for ypu til the End Message.
