Re: Cities of Gold
Surely some of these aren't armies at all but are brands of chocolate bars. I saw about a week ago that this became available for pre order on Book Depository (about 140 days to go). Is there a list of the armies contained somewhere? ARAWAK CARIB AZTEC TRIPLE ALLIANCE ALLIES CENTRAL AMERICAN ALLIES ...

Is there anyone in the vague area of SW London/Surrey who is lacking an opponent for Fog Renaissance?

Carthaginian challenge (or advice needed)
I am trying to design a relatively competitive Later Carthaginian army to take on a friends MRR or LRR.
Advice on composition would be most welcome.

it means nothing to me
I have a strong feeling that a 'Marston Moor' type option for Imperials with Poles ( or vice versa)will prove very popular indeed.

Starter Armies etc
Several questions prior to a first game on Saturday.
1) Approximately how many points are the starter armies?
2) If playing a smaller than the standard 800 or so points should we reduce the tabel size or the maximum amount of terrain?

Lancers and Baggage
Two questions:
1) Do lance armed cavalry count as impact horse or something different?
2) Will I need to organise a baggage camps for my various soon to be FoG-R armies?

Ottoman Turks
Just a quick query.
I have just been offered 16 bases of musket armed Janissaries at a semi-bargain price; would that be too many for a mid to late Ottoman Turk army.

Means more BGs in the army This is, unfortunately IMO, a bit too important. I, too, wonder if there is a better way to deal with army breaks that does not favor gimmicky filler BGs. To be sure, filler issues are not nearly as bad in FoG as they were in DBM (IMO), but the marginal value of cheap sma...
