Re: Erik's Multiplayer scenarios

In Scandinavia scenario both Sweedish objectives are wrong. The objective to sink Naval unit is checked as completed but I haven't sink anything yet. The trigger that relates to German capture of Sweedish primary objectives sets this to COMPLETED for Germany but it does the same thing for Sweeden. I...

Re: can't start PvP

Make sure to deploy units from the reserve, I didn't do that and apparently, I cannot do it on turn 2 because there are no deployment zones anymore.

Re: SUBMARINES Detailed Rules Explanation

12. Does a submarine surface once it has fired torpedoes or can it remain submerged if not adjacent to an enemy warship? If torpedoes were fired while submerged sub stays submerged regardless of its distance to enemy ship. Do note if surfaced you can choose between torpedo attack and using deck gun...

Re: SUBMARINES Detailed Rules Explanation

10. How many turns on the surface does it take to fully charge batteries. Is it one level per turn? One point per turn on the surface to charge batteries. 11. Does surface movement make any difference to battery recharging? No. You can move and batteries will still be recharged. While submerged sub...

Re: The "Gabe-Mod" (v7.1.5 / beta testing)

One can maximize the historical impact on the game but at the end, those numbers used need to correlate with combat formula and more than that all this has an effect on actual gameplay. This is why translating various parameters into numbers doesn't work well if the gameplay is not put into consider...

Re: Can units begin scens already dug-in?

As far as I know, 100 aggression would be the maximum.

Units can be entrenched at scenario start. Place it on the map, select it and check one of those values to the right of "Rename Unit" button. See image attached.

Re: What is going on with OOB?

Hi guys Thank you for your support and advice. I managed to figure out how to upload an image (sorry it is not good quality) but I cannot see why I received a defeat message at turn 12 of 22 unless something is obvious. I will use igotnukes option. Thank you Odd. Could you please upload a savegame ...

Re: What is going on with OOB?

I played Winter War right after the update and depsite winning the second scenario I received a Defeat message for no reason. Cannot confirm. I just played the first two scenarios of Winter War and got Victory in the second scenario. Take how victory condition is not only to capture the last town b...

Re: PvP Etiquette

I do not agree about the first one. PBEM system allows one to respond whenever he has time after opponents turn. Dedication creates pressure and it is fine if one is creating pressure for himself but I would not like for someone else to create pressure on me especially if we are talking about having...

Re: Just sharing: why I haven't played one of my favourite games for months...

I do not think the difference between 3rd and 5th level of difficulty is significant enough to warrant balanced experience for two type of players every on their own level. If the game is balanced to satisfy hardcore challengers seeking a hard fight for every inch of the ground on the 5th level this...

Re: Anniversary coupon - what to buy?

Does immersion in the setting (and I do not mean historical accuracy here but setting in general) plays a role for you to enjoy the game or it is all about tactical challenge? If I had two games to play I would let only one to absorb me and spend with it some time before switching to other. Do you p...

This a very neat way to make sure all units have been assigned to a AI Team (key-click j ).
For convenience you can keep AI Team 1 empty for that purpose. If you see something is in, obviosly wrong so you fix that until AI Team 1 is empty again.

Re: Anniversary coupon - what to buy?

For fantasy game play Battle for Wesnoth, it is free. If you don't mind graphics is not advanced.

For coupon try Unity of Command, you will scratch your head to get all Briliant Victories in Stalingrad Campaign.

Re: Multiplayer - Race For Tunis

Tunisia was the principal reward for the Allied landing in Northwest Africa. Direct landing at once was not advised for two reasons. Geographically area was too close to Italy and landings could be contested from the air at once and occupying Tunisia itself would not resolve the political and milita...

Chat pop up

If chat message is not sent to the particular player it does not pop up (if it is sent to all or allies). I need to check chat overview regularly to see is there something new.

Re: Multiplayer - Sandstorm At The Oasis

But Player 1 has the advantage of an opening move so when Player 2 has a chance to counter it all sits in its place. If I am not mistaken Fork is made that way.
