That occurred to me, but the briefing sort of explains why the situation is what it is. There's a bit in there about Soviet amphibious landing securing ground. I figured as much. Besides, it's hardly a deal-breaker; I enjoyed the scenario and would rather have it included to offer some action in th...

I'd like to be able to access the scenario briefing while actually playing the mission. Old minds have a harder time recalling what the good field marshall said...

When they were on Read Street?
Hi Marty, I started playing AH games in the early '80s, so by that time they were at the Harford Road location. That was also where I briefly worked for them.

Anybody ever heard of Avalon Hill? Like "Russian Front"? Growing up, I lived a few miles away from the company's headquarters in Baltimore. I think in my teens I must have bought 30-40 AH games. In fact, I got a job there in their graphics department from '97-'98, right before they were sold to Has...

Siege of Sevastopol briefing:

1. In the second paragraph, where it says "... this, should allow you..." remove the comma.
2. In the third paragraph, it should read "Black Sea (singular) fleet."

Play without the imported core so there is some feedback about the core that starts with the campaign! It sounds like most here have imported.
I'm using the core that comes with the campaign; defintely seems a lot harder when not using an imported core!

To prevent people who didn't read the briefing from sending the retreating troops to the front.
Or, in my case, people who forgot what they read in the briefing...

Good point, Longasc. :)

I read about PzC first on wargaming.com; they ran a (very early) preview of the game and I knew immediately I'd found "the One." LOL

To echo my fellow testers, thanks to the devs for including me in this beta, it is always a pleasure and an honor. :) Installation of the 1.06 beta and the 1942 DLC went smoothly as always, no problems in running the game. Text corrections for DLC 1942

I figured I'd get us started. 8) Vitebsk briefing: 1. I'm a bit confused by the use of the word "headstrong" when describing the army's advance. Perhaps you meant "headlong," which would imply a bold (if somewhat impetious) advance. Vitebsk post-mission briefing: 1. In the first paragraph, it should...
