A follow-up question, can anyone tell me what effect bypassing Kiev has? Do we attack Moscow earlier in the year and get better weather? Do the Russians have less troops since they presumably don't have the crack Siberian troops at this point? Can anyone tell me what effect that decision has on the...

Dont destroy the allied air units but let them fly to an airfield and replenish using prestige that would otherwise be used to ground units.
Makes sense?

I have been playing with a risky trick. Dont destroy the allied air units but let them fly to an airfield and replenish using prestige that would otherwise be used to ground units. Makes sense? I don't know if it makes sense from a spending prestige point of view but it sure will allow your fighter...

I checked the amount and i got exactly 2880 prestige for a decisive. I hope that your "around 3500" prestige are 2880 because otherwise you get more prestige for a marginal victory. He was adding in the prestige for flag captures too! Exactly. So I really can't tell what you get by a marginal victo...

Maybe it is more a matter of timing. The battle of Kursk scenario is roughly 4th July till 20th July or even 23rd August. 9th July - 17th August is the time of the Allied invasion of Sicily. I quite liked to start the 43 West Campaign there, should have lost intentionally as Overlord isn't exactly ...

Yes, but it is unlikely that you will play it starting from 1939. Why? -> open "Library" and see "Campaign Path" in the Panzer Corps main menu. Basically, you must lose Sealion 42 to get to the "Italy" scenario. Kursk sends you right to the Gustav Line scenario (~"Anzio" in Panzer General). Thanks....

Wow, did really nobody have trouble with 14 strength 4 star M26 Patton? That's disappointing to hear Mid West is a breeze for everyone... although I'm not disappointed to hear it was generally enjoyed as an 'uber tank battle', which very much was the intention. :D I thought this one was the hardest...

I'd say it is cheating if you play a game, and have to save/load because of a bad choice. I never do and my latest campaign went smooth untill east coast America. Here i lost 9 of my core forces. Oh and i lost the map as well. I did this only for East Coast because it is/was considered impossible.....

Would it be possible to put limits on unit types? Say 8 tank units, 12 infantry etc? That would sort of force you to have a variety if you wanted the maximum number of core units.

I like Recon units but in the late game they just die to fast.
Perhaps some of the later models can be given a much higher armour defense to simulate their small size and maneuverability not necessarily their armour. At least they could survive a chance encounter or two.
