I just had an odd thing happen.

On turn 62 4 x 43 British infantry appeared near Kursk. I'm not exactly sure how they got there since the nearest British unit is about 100 hexes away, there are no airfields near that I don't control and it was snowing. I have a save if you want it.

I gave the scenario another try. It's impossible to hold on to all the victory cities without losing core units and severely damaging the rest while keeping around 3000 PPs. Either I'm just going to pull all my units behind the river around turn 12 and settle for a MV, or set the difficulty to Lieu...

Yeah, that would definitely make some sense. However, when I placed the units on the map for the fourth big scenario I tried to place them according to historical Order of Battles so that the player can start June 1941 with a historically accurate army. I think between scenarios you can change difficulties. Look on the screen that tell you what type of result you achieved and see if there is a settings tab.

If you are attacking a position with artillery behind it, the first thing you want to do is try to supress the defensive artillery. Either get you own artillery in range an bombard it or use a Strategic bomber. Stratigic bombers can stand up to most flakunits so don't be afraid to use them if AA is ...

I do not know why it happened in the third scenario, there should not be an issue there with the memory. That one is not a very large scale scenario. The /nocache switch is only neccessary for the fourht, large scenario. I thought it may have been because I play all those turns in a row but it prob...

I have a question about subs in this mod. Can subs on the $ be submerged and still get the 50 prestige for being on on the convoy route or do they need to be at least periscope level and can be attacked?

You dont get heroes by themselves, you get free units that have heroes already in the unit. When you get a Rudel you will be notified that a special unit has joined you, a stuka in this case, and Rudel will be a hero in the unit.

I had the same opinion and I was simply wrong! From end of 42 forward enemy air gets more numerous, more experienced and more advanced (Soviet IL 2 and Yak 3 anyone?).
