Player Rankings now with custom date range

Hi all, I just uploaded a modified version of the Player Rankings. The Player Rankings page now includes a 'more options' box. It contains the already familiar functions 'Show points in addition to the ELO-Score.' and 'Show all players, even those that did not play any tournaments in the last 24 mon...

Hmm, yes gotta finish those blurps, the lists themselves are done (I'm starting to hate those blurps I find it completely impossible to hit the right length... they either end up extremely compact and non-informative or 6+ pages long <sigh>). Oh and nope, nothing to cover Livonia (I've Hungarian, Ea...

I can see a Brit team, what about a English team, a Scott's one, one from Wales and so on ? ;) It has been mooted in the past but I don't think it was very popular with the non Brits. It would be good to see German, Belgian, French, Spanish and Portugese teams though. I don't think a Finnish or Iri...

So Simon's response as an author (in the link posted above) is incorrect? I think so - IMO Roger is correct about the formation requirement. I pointed that out in the thread about conforming (i.e. do not conform if the shortest way is blocked somehow) some months ago. IMO keeping both requirements ...

Why, considering the overall success of shooty cav armies in FoG, are people thinking that the steppe side is uncompetitive? My worry, before posting the lists, was that I would have trouble finding enough civilized players to balance the numbers, not the other way round. While shooty armies are ge...

Just noticed we are also missing more detailed info on how the themes in Derby last year were structured: Derby - Old Glory World Team Championships 09 - Classical Derby - Old Glory World Team Championships 09 - European Medieval Derby - Old Glory World Team Championships 09 - Middle East & The Crus...

Of course the Ilkhans sweeping out of the steppes had no Knights until they were pretty deep into the Middle east. Rather correct, but their territory still included the same regions the Khwarazmians had occupied before AND they had troubles with the golden Horde in that area. So steppe territory e...

Well as it's on the wrong side of the pond I'm not going to attend, but... My favourite 'steppe' army are Ilkhanids, the Kn make for an interesting twist (even if I'm still having trouble to get it to work as intended). Admittedly for some reasons Ilkhanids do not get steppe terrain. (Despite part o...

Some get lancer Cv in addition or instead (or even Cataphracts), some elephants. Kushan can actually look more like an Indian army with lots of LH then a steppe outfit. Others get interesting allies. (Like Ottomans with Crimean Tatars. I always wondered if on BG of janissaries does anything to help ...

Thanks, does 'all of these' indicate the other 3 were 25 mm or that you just don't know? More like, the ones I gave you were from the Gulf Coast Championship and I had all of their information as the GCC Coordinator. I believe for the most part all of the others may have been 15mm but they sometime...

I hadn't noticed and knowing him in Athens and presumably busy otherwise took the opportunity for some maintenance and extensio...

I settled for: "West-Europe from Storm of Arrows, Oath of Fealty + Lost Scrolls 1250-1500" if anyone has a better idea... stuff sounds to much like turkey for me though. ;) Btw. the 24 month limit is now active, currently it affects just 19 players though. There's a bit in the FAQ restricting a charge not counting as a flank charge "CHARGES NOT QUALIFYING AS A FLANK CHARGE CONTACTING THE FLANK EDGE OF AN ENEMY BASE" ... Which enemy ranks cannot be so contacted if the front base in the file is already in melee to its front? The first two ranks." That ...

Rivers are perfectly happy to run through forests and marshes so need not block placement of these features (gets a bit tricky when you are talking about hills though) I found this sort of manipulation of the rules irritating in DBR (road down the flank with a second, connecting, road leaving the f...

There is also another detail to take into account. As a tournament organiser I would be less then happy having to use what effectively a double scoring system. Now tournaments in Germany tend to be small and we use always use the Software provided by Thomas Peters, so its not to difficult here (assu...

The list notes state quite clearly that Lanciarii BGs can not include archers, so not sure why there is doubt. Marines are slightly more interesting, as the list stands I would permit it. They are clearly Legionaries now so covered by the legionary foot condition, are not expressedly forbidden from ...

Or 3, he send them to Hammy, who might have forgotten them or more likely decided they are unusable if a different scoring system was used (which might or might not be correct).

Only one way to find out ... JAMES... you know your job, get us those results please. :)
