My original map was based upon a miniatures scenario. I've since found a board game of the battle with a more interesting map. Here is the latest version of my map and scenario: https://rapidshare.com/files/343492472/tag552adv4.rar I've also made some subtle changes to the Byzantine forces which may...

Taginae 552 AD

I've just put together a scenario for the Battle of Taginae - between the Byzantine Empire and the Ostrogothic Kingdom in Italy. It is the first time that I have tried to create a custom scenario using FoG and so I would be grateful if someone could check it out. It is still an early version. I expe...

Are there any official screenshots which can be posted in forum threads etc? Or can we post our own screenshots at this stage? They could help to publicise the game.

I’ve just logged into multiplayer to find that the game I accepted earlier is now a current game – despite the error message mentioned above. So I clicked play. I was then asked which army I wanted to use. So I tried to select the correct book – Decline & Fall. It wasn’t an option.

I just tried to accept one of your D&F DAG challenges and I got the following error: Sorry, an error occured while trying to accept a challenge. Reason: Successfully sent the game turn, but could not notify your opponent with an email. (Code 33) :( It would have been my first FoG MP game. But then I...

Thanks for uploading your Dara scenario. I look forward to playing it. I would just like to make a small suggestion regarding your Belisarian scenarios. Have you considered using infantry figures from the early Byzantine (493-550 AD) list. I think they may be more suitable for the period - in my per...

v1.6.3 Thematic (later) list error?

I get the message:

Error: Duplicate troop ID 23
Error: Duplicate troop ID 24
Error: Duplicate troop ID 25

I did not get this message with v1.6.2

I hope it isn’t just me.

Thanks.

I forgot to mention earlier that when I was playing I noticed a small typo with the Byzantine forces. Issaurian = Isaurian.

Will you be uploading your Battle of Dara scenario? :)

Old Warrior, I have just played your scenario as the Persians vs the Byzantine AI (because I have not yet played a FoG multiplayer game  ). I had a very enjoyable battle. Thanks. Thanks too for your journal upload - which was an interesting read. :) I noticed during my game that some Ghassanid...

There are a couple of typos in the battle description. Herogenes = Hermogenes advaned = advanced Moreover, did Hermogenes bring more forces from Rome? Or from Constantinople? I haven’t played the scenario yet, but I’ve had a peek at the armies and battlefield. I noticed there was a typo amongst the ...

v1.6.2 Early South Slav army descriptions

The army descriptions for both armies refers to the South Slavs as South Slaves - at the bottom of the paragraph. It should be South Slav armies of course. Moreover, the Coats should be Croats. Perhaps the first sentence of the description could be changed from: "Slavic tribes the Venets, the Antes ...

I was just saying that in the army book the Avars can have the Bulgars as allies from 675 AD. The Avar (later) army – which is the Avar army with Bulgar allies – currently has a start date of 680 AD.

Perhaps the nation name could be changed from 'Later Moorish (later)' to 'Later Moorish (533-548)'

Because they are not later later Moors as such. :)

The Berber spearmen (heavy foot) look alittle underdressed to me. I think the 'unit-bib10-arab-spearman-png' figure would make a good berber spearman.

The Berber Javelinmen could be kept as they are. After all they run around alot. :)
