Re: Morris vs BattleVonWar

Frozen North Sector of the Russian Front(which has not changed much) aside a few Dogfights over the Forests/Rivers and Steppes of Russia. Apparently Organization tech is utterly vital for the Russians/Germans. Much of the Axis Forces I cannot see and our outside of Air Recon, especially due to weath...

Re: Morris vs BattleVonWar

Harsh Winter to the Eve of 1942: I am a little frustrated on both the Eastern and Western fronts. To boot, the Southern Front is no better... The Axis have more or less asserted control of the Atlantic from me. Although this is temporary this does nothing for my morale. I lost a few minor ships and ...

Re: CEaW vs Strategic War in Europe

Commander is my favourite game now, ToF is on the shelf, my last 2 opponents more or less resigned. I helped Betatest this but it evolved a lot since that etchie sketch...I would not turn my back on a good 6-12 months of pleasure, CEAW has kept me busy the whole time I have been sick and I hope all ...

Re: Morris vs BattleVonWar

South Front before Winter sets in... Axis dig in behind the Rivers, Donets is firmly in Axis Hands. http://i57.tinypic.com/m8ldfa.png November 1941: The first snow flakes just fell, the USA has joined the War and Libya is about to be taken by the British. The Battle of the Atlantic is still on and T...

Re: max vs battle(Allies)

In Egypt a lack of Tacs and strong Battle Tanks causes issues but bringing them is hard to get around that Horn of Africa and the length of Libya... making progress here slow! Axis quickly dispatch our only tanks driven in with reinforcements with Air/Commandos and reinforcements before they're flan...

Here a few Mechs/Tanks(highly upgraded German ones) attack. Russians throw back the defenders but don't want to risk losing counteroffensive strength here.

No other major battle zones aside Egypt...

Re: Morris vs BattleVonWar

1941 Barbarossa Progression: Morris is not making many errors so far. Very low losses and is getting a lot of Mother Russia in the very end stage of Summer of 1941. We're sitting halfway mark where the Germans dig in and upgrade or attempt to push the potential Weather in September. Most German Unit...

Re: max vs battle(Allies)

This area of the Front is rather Stale... Has been since the Axis forced a Soviet Withdrawal, no threat has been made on Moscow? I was curious if the Axis might go for a do or die here to just say they did it : )

Re: max vs battle(Allies)

In Russia Spring-Summer 1944: We would advance but we are a bit thin and any advance too far may cost, but The Chief is calling for an attack, what will we do? A small amount of Russian Units are forming up. Still missing some of those beautiful mechs from a few years back... but we have some new Fi...

Re: max vs battle(Allies)

1944: Supermax so far has played pretty flawlessly and has harassed my units in North Africa so bad that I cannot contain nor expand. Large amounts of USAF move to Jordan and Libya but are repelled and Commando style raids force them to defensive lines. Large RAF Forces in Morocco and Algeria are fo...

Re: Ronnie vs Allied Player (Allied Player Please Stay Out)

1942! Must have been me sleepless nights not paying attention! There is a lot of time and room for the Russians to do something else, no offensive force for Winter '42? Always nice to have a few heavy armor or lots of Tacs in the back to bring up and harass the Axis? The Axis going to keep a forward...

Re: Morris vs BattleVonWar

1940-1941 leading to Barbarossa vs Morris: The basics here are quite simple, Morris has built a fleet and I have hidden from it as we all know there is no way for the Allies to compete at Sea if the Axis have an easy campaign in France and you risk throwing The UK if you get too offensive too early ...

Re: Ronnie vs Allied Player (Allied Player Please Stay Out)

Retreating in 1943??? For the Russians to be doing that is a bad thing, I have been exactly in this same position in my own AAR. There is just so much firepower the Axis can bring to the field in '43 and if by that point the Tables have not turned it would be particularly hard for the Axis to throw ...

Re: max vs battle(Allies)

The situation in the North of Russia before a General Retreat is called, very dire...
