Re: Paralyzed by choices: AC? AK?? GC???

Id say PC first as its the base game, then AC. Then AK, although im not a fan of that one. Then once you get those done, get all the DLC and play those, then.... hit the great MODs that people have made!! Then repeat lol

Thats the Down Load Campaign. Where you buy each year of the war starting from 39 and going on to 45. Each year is about 15 battles and you can fight in the east or west from 43 on. Highly recommend it if you like playing, its far better than the main PC game.

Re: How upset do you get when you fail?

I hate it when you have two planes that need to refuel at only the same airfield, then it is 1 turn until decisive victory!!!! you know the red fuel that only stepping on the airfield is enough to refuel it :( You know as long as you can get in the hex next to the airfield your plane will live even...

Re: Halftracks or Trucks?

I only give trucks to flamethrower infantry (pionere), the rest get nothing. All my infantry die too quickly to get any value from transports. 88s are the only thing I would consider giving a halftrack, but then only the cheaper one - BNC I notice alot of people say that on here and I dont get it. ...

Re: why is this game so addictive?

I'm glad I can be together with all my fellow panzer corps addicts. It is really a great game, definitely improved over the original PG. I love the heroes! Really gives it an RPG flavor. Love the rpg heroes too! Shh..dont tell the hardcore, they delete them heroes on sight. haha good one!...

Re: How upset do you get when you fail?

I never restart either, although sometimes I restart a DLC over and over lol As for losing a core, I play with the reform unit on, so always get it back, just without any exp. I'll get pissed at myself when I do something stupid, which is normally when I rush an attack and dont spot something before...

Re: Background Sounds

Of all the things we seem to change and create for the game, sound seems to be the one thing that gets very little anttetion. Yet im guessing for some of us, me included, we play so much that what ever is running in the background would get tiring after a while lol

Matter of fact, great job - especially for your first air units... Keep this up and you may have to consider renaming the thread.
Thanks and you are right, might need a new name for this thread!

Re: Anfields Army Men Updated 2/19/14

Couple of British P-47s. Havent game testing them, but tossing them out there anyway lol Now I cant take full credit because the camo and markings on them I used off a spitfire I got off the forum, not sure who made it, so thanks. They Brits got about 500-600 of each of these and used them mostly as...

Two types of Fireflys, the IC and VC mks. I made no stat changes to these. Also the Unit ID is now on the turrets.

These are Sherman Mk. Vs. The most common Sherman the British used, the Sherman III was second I believe. Stat changes, cost 390, hard attack 11.

Re: Anfields Army Men Updated 2/17/14

Here are the British and Canadian Sherman Mk. IIIs. This Sherman had a diesel engine so was less likely to burn when hit. Since Shermans are all very much the same the stat mods were done relfecting the US types as well. Changes are as follows, cost 400, Fuel 48, Hard Attack 10, Ground Defense 12. T...

Re: AI minefield tactic is atrocious

Made me think of the Cauldron mission in AC. The allies get a massive mine field protecting the 150th Brigade you need to reach, but then the AI now gets a endless stream of enginners to wipe it out?? Plus as was said, every German unit sees the mines are the most deadly thing in the world a...

Re: Prestige needed to get through 42 East?

The issue effects us all we, had it fairly easy until 42. Where we could elite replace units after building up so much prestige even during battles. However by 42 your core should have alot of 3 star plus units. The trick is to know when to elite replace units during a battle and when to give them g...

Re: Halftracks or Trucks?

I find you can get away with trucks until 41. Once you start the big battles in mother Russia, the large open maps are very hard on trucks trying to keep up with the rest of your army. Now if you run a historical army your infantry divisions can be the last to up grade to trucks along with their tow...
