Re: New Agent MIssion

Open the relations screen, hit the "X" button on the agent you want to recall (all agents are listed down the left side of this screen).

Re: Will no longer run

To opt in or out of the beta, you have to make sure that the game is not running - this includes the launcher application for the game. If there are no windows open related to Sovereignty, then try checking the task list for Sovereignty.exe and ending task if it is present (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, then proc...

Re: Will no longer run

It appears to be some sort of problem with the graphics device. Try going to your My Documents folder, then to the Sovereignty folder, and then deleting Settings.cfg - this will reset the game settings, and hopefully allow the game to run again. If this fails, you can also switch back to the main br...

Re: Illustrious Potential!

If you purchase it from Slitherine during the early access period, you will receive a steam key, so yes you would need steam. Once early access ends, you will be able to get a digital download from Slitherine which will not require steam (we'll make plenty of noise about it when the game leaves earl...

Re: Illustrious Potential!

Actually, a steam version requires us to make changes to the game code before it gets uploaded to steam, so it's not the same as a non-steam version - we would have to maintain 2 distinct sets of code.

Re: Illustrious Potential!

Not at all - it's in our interests to sell the game on as many platforms as possible to reach the widest possible audience. We're simply starting with steam, and once the game in in a place where we feel happy with it, we will expand to other platforms so far as possible.

Re: Illustrious Potential!

We're a small team, so things take time unfortunately - the game will be changing over the course of the year of course, by the end it will be much more refined than it is at present. As far as non-steam versions are concerned, there is administrative overhead in maintaining multiple versions of the...

Re: Illustrious Potential!

Hi Vissavald, thanks for the compliment - I'm glad that you enjoy our work :) We expect to be in early access for around 1 year. Once early access is done, the game will also be available as a standalone download without requiring steam (not to say that updates will stop at that point, but by then w...

Re: new campains

We encourage all forms of modding. You can create your mod using separate files - see the Modding Guide document which is included with the game for a brief overview of the process of making a mod which doesn't change the game core files directly. IF you have specific issues, we're happy to respond ...

Re: awaiting important decision - can't continue

IF the game says that there is a pending decision, this indicates that one of the messages which appear in the top-left still needs to be dealt with - most of them can be safeky ignored, but there are a couple which are important enough that the game will not allow you to proceed until they have bee...

Re: Average of 5 crashes per hour

Regarding ships: you may not be able to build dedicated warships, but simply moving your units into a harbour will convert them into transport ships (if your realm cannot make warships, your transports will be armed, though only lightly, to defend themselves).

Re: crash on startup

It seems to be failing to create the game window - whic usually indicates a problem with the settings (incorrect resolution, etc). A little odd since you say it worked first time, but i would going to My Documents\Sovereignty\ and deleting the settings.cfg file to reset the game settings.

If you have modded files, you will need to add a medal3a, medal3b, medal4a and medal4b entry to each unit.

Re: Unit Properties

cwork sets a value on units - this is mainly used by the AI when deciding how important units are relative to each other (for example, as part of it's spell target selection process, it will include this information in it's weighting). purc is used for the initial starting army for each realm - if p...

Re: Bug with economic lvl during occupation.

In the current version, a province will only go red (and therefore be half price to repair) when it is brought below it's starting economy level.

Re: Unit Properties

Must be a bug, the game shouldn't care what names you give to text entries in the file, they don't even have to follow UNITNAMEXXX, that's just for our convenience. In fact i would advise strongly that you prefix all text names for your mod with your mod name, or an abbreviation of it, to avoid pote...

Re: Prosperous Growth spell doesn't work????

To cast the prosperous growth spell, the province must be fully repaired after your occupation (in other words, back to whatever level it was at before you attacked it), also note that you cannot use this spell to get around the restriction of only being able to upgrade a province once per turn.

Re: Unit Properties

You said only new units and modifications - while it is true that you cannot remove a unit completely, you can change it's properties and set Purch=no which will disable it from being visible/purchasable in-game (units which use this in the default sov_charts are either pending units for a future up...
