This is a known issue, roll up does not currently work.

Regarding terrain effects - in auto battles it will use the province terrain if it needs a terrain for anything, in tactical battle it will use the current hex.

For the moment, there is nothing you can directly do about this.

I have applied a fix for this issue, which will be available when the game updates to 1.4 (if you are on the beta branch, that should be Wednesday this week, if not it will be next week).

He played the card against you (the missing text should say "Iron Barony plays Taskmaster"). The card skips the other player's next turn - in this case that means you got skipped and he got to take 2 turns in a row. So, other than the missing text, yes it is working.

The amounts a realm will pay for a resource depend on how badly they need/want it. First, apply the black circle image as a mask to get the round shape, then place the "counter" image on top as a new layer (may have to adjust transparency of that layer). not sure about tools though, so long as it supports layers and masks, should work fine. Delete this file: "My documents\Sovereignty\settings.cfg" - when you start the game it should offer you a choice of display modes - pick one which actually works on your monitor (if unsure, a low resolution setting with 60Hz refresh rate is usually safe).

It's probably related to sales tax in some way or another.

There was a post earlier today about changes to how Slitherine is applying sales tax/VAT, so maybe that is the reason.

Since it shows -2 turns, i can probably include a fix for it in the next patch (we update weekly usually, on Wednesday). - just keep an eye on the forums for the patch announcement.

I can't think of anything which would bring your agent home (i suspect it's on -2 turns, not 2 turns - hence the problem). I suppose that someone with knowledge of scripting could mofify the campaign script for the current game (or one of the UI scripts maybe) to simpyl change the agent's data to 0 ...

Well, it looks like (hard to say exactly) like it simply isn't able to create the Direct3D device - which usually means the system is in some way not compatible.

Did you also try turning off full screen mode?

The game usually falls back to safe display mode if it can't launch in the one you have selected.

You can try deleting/renaming/moving "My Documents\Sovereignty\settings.cfg" - that will force it to re-detect the display.
