I agree with dalfrede's view that it's good to try out different difficulty and pick one that suits you. I mainly play to unwind rather than to give my self a true test of skill and determination, so about 70% prestige and experience, or +1 strength is about right as I have to think too hard above t...

If you hadn't played a turn, you could simply reload as allied player. Otherwise try restart scenario in the options menu. One of these should do what you want. There is a bit more. I agree some subs should be able to attack land targets when surfaced,. They probably should be quite weak agaiinst hard targets, but maybe with fortkiller as it's a bit easier to take on buildings and harbour installations. Similar speed to cavalry (maybe 4 not 5), and no or minimal effect from desert terrain. With no fuel to run out, they could be handy for raids and patrols on large maps. It also opens the door for interwar period campaigns in north africa.

Initiative doesn't help when attacking ground targets as the ground units always fire first (I think the initiative is set to 99 and 0 or something that clearly says ground fires first) so you're better off keeping Lent as a fighter bomber where the initiative is helpful for assuring you get the fir...
