Which store did you purchase Empires from? FOGII is generally able to automatically launch Empires, however it currently doesn't work with the GOG version Empires, but this will be fixed in the next FOGII update.
Mine is steam version. That's strange.

Is it possible to make FOG:E autolaunch after closing FOGII?

Sorry if this feature has been requested in the forum. I glanced the first two pages and find none. I'd like know that whether the link between FOGE and FOGII be smoother. It is nice that when I click export battle, FOGII automatically start but when I finish the battle, FOGE doesn't auto-launch. I ...

Will the timeline extended further?

Re: The Rally Point (discussion and questions)

The square game is actually octagon game, isn't it? It is true that the current octagon tile offers more flank/rear attack opportunity for 5/8 comparing frontal attack 3/8. The hexagon offers 3/6 for flank/rear and 3/6 for frontal attack.

Re: Apparently, I've been removed from the tournament. Why?

I feel sorry to say that the turn-counting in email also counts the opponent's turn. So 7th turn actually is the 4th turn. You can see you don't have two successive numbers for one match. 7th and 8th turn are for two matches.

Re: The Rally Point (discussion and questions)

I am afraid nerf "horde" army may hurt some lists major with medium foot. In my experience playing Slav list, even the number can't help to match a army with certain amount of lancers.

Re: Apparently, I've been removed from the tournament. Why?

Perhaps I am wrong after I read this http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=477&t=91817 f the timed-out player has played less than 6 turns, he will not be included in the draw for the next round. This is to prevent someone else’s enjoyment being spoiled by being drawn against someone who h...

Re: Apparently, I've been removed from the tournament. Why?

I guess you scored zero point and the turn in your tray is longer than your opponent's. If these two criteria are met, the player will be removed from the list. If you scored a single point, then you won't be removed. I can feel your pain that these criteria punish people who want to spare a certain...

If you experienced cavalry rallies for two successive turns just by the flank of your unit, you will reconsider the usefulness of pursuing the rout. ;)

Re: Where are the Scara?

Scara is mounted infantry who ussually fight on foot. I think superior quality dismounted lancers are them.
Or you may refer to Scola, heavy cavalrymen. I think they are the superior lancers in game since Franks have another lancer with no helmet, protected level, above average quality lancers.

At least Basil II's campaign is winnable even on deity level. Just be confident that you can win it.

Re: Different Seasons

To be honest, Fog of War is already in the game but unit can see quite far, about half width of the map. Perhaps some may think current unit see too far and want even more limited field of view. I am afraid that more limited view may lead the game more slow-paced and more passive than that now becau...

I don't see why we can't transfer general in your case. The unit routs the enemy so not engaged. The unit is not in pursue.

Re: Is there any plan on mid medieval, late medieval or even renaissance DLCs?

I like FOGII current design that you can see your men fight and fall on the battlefield. It is also very cool to see how a depleted cohort still holding the ground. In P&S, you have no feeling of the casualty of your units. Your tercio with torn flag is still a big chunk. Opportunity shooting could ...

Agree Jewish Zealot army being hardly unbeatable.

BTW, why Zealots get lightly protected. They don't even have shields but plain cloth on them like light javelin or light horse archers. Unprotected is more correct. :D

Re: Printable Reference Charts?

Print POA table in manual could be enough with shooting POA, melee POA and impact POA, perhaps with more armor rating and quality rating POA table. But we have to wait... But I still don't get why we can't update the manual frequently? It's a PDF file. In LaTeX, it's just one click for new compiling.

Mostly because they are superior "impact foot", which usually gives them advantage at impact phase.
