Re: Is there any plan on mid medieval, late medieval or even renaissance DLCs?

I like FOGII current design that you can see your men fight and fall on the battlefield. It is also very cool to see how a depleted cohort still holding the ground. In P&S, you have no feeling of the casualty of your units. Your tercio with torn flag is still a big chunk. Opportunity shooting could ...

Re: Superior Medium infantry

Agree Jewish Zealot army being hardly unbeatable.

BTW, why Zealots get lightly protected. They don't even have shields but plain cloth on them like light javelin or light horse archers. Unprotected is more correct. :D

Re: Printable Reference Charts?

Print POA table in manual could be enough with shooting POA, melee POA and impact POA, perhaps with more armor rating and quality rating POA table. But we have to wait... But I still don't get why we can't update the manual frequently? It's a PDF file. In LaTeX, it's just one click for new compiling.

Mostly because they are superior "impact foot", which usually gives them advantage at impact phase.

Battle of Andrianople is a good example for ambush scenario. OP can have a try if you owned Legion Triumphant DLC.

Re: General fallen upon a winning impact

There's no need for the restriction of general falling. One can win with two or more generals falling, and one can lose with all the generals survive.

Re: Combat Result predictions

I suppose this is the replay phase for your last turn that the combat tooltip shows your opponent's unit's information from his perspective. So that 37% is your opponent's noble cavalry win percentage, which makes sense. POA modifier +27% is the translation of Net POA +87 into Win-draw-lose probabil...

Have you checked if any of your Internet security programs (Anti-virus, firewall, etc.) isn't interfering with the game?
I installed no other programs but windows defender.

Re: Game not responding if idle for long time

What you've said is one case which I encountered before, but what I said is that I am not in the game but in MP lobby for long time and then the game freezes.

Game not responding if idle for long time

This happened to me several times when I am at the MP interface. If I don't close the game but leave it at the MP, it will become non-responding, perhaps for an hour time. And also I may not be able to kill the process as the access is denied. Hopefully this issue could be looked at.

Re: Newbie needs some help

Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean. My main question is if African Spearmen should charge Warband troops? It doesn't seem to typically go well. Sorry if I wasn't clear It depends. Generally speaking, African Spearmen have disadvantage against warband at impact phase, impact POA is 100 vs...

Re: Newbie needs some help

If you want to replicate Hannibal's tactic, you can let the AI charges you and pushes you back to create the chance of flank attack. If you charge instead, the result is that either you are beaten to fall back or push the enemy if winning.

Yes, I've read that lack of shield-bearer is the reason for the poor behavior of crossbowmen in Crecy.

Re: What is the reasoning that crossbow diffs effect against cav and foot while bow doesn't

What difference exactly do you mean? I thought the only difference between the two was that crossbow has lower base damage but ignores armour. I mean crossbow has -16% against cavalry but -41% against foot, but bow/sling/javelin doesn't differentiate the effect against mounted or foot. RBS's point ...

Re: Bug report:(order to)dismounted muslim armored lancers' models are smaller than normal units

Armoured muslim lancers are all dismountable. There are few situations where this is going to be useful. But it is not the case on my end. I will have another check. All dismountable troops are only dismountable in the Deployment phase. They are not dismountable during the battle, and (for ...
