At game start the initial population of each region is used to determine how easy it will be to grow past high level of population (say 20+). This is how in games started in 1.05 you'll have some difficulty to have 50 populations in Melita or in a forlorn desert region. This won't be retroactive for...

I'm not sure that objectives halfway across the world map are of any interest and they happen a lot when Rome decides to attack you. The solution you've chosen seems to encourage declaring war on someone without taking their best province and waiting for it to become an objective rather than having...

Did you start the game in 1.03?

In 1.04 then 1.05 some low pop regions should have a great difficulty booming like in 1.03

This kind of collapse is only for Seleucids, Antigonids and Lysimachids. If you are a player, you won't have it too ... You can still get civil wars, rest assured :twisted:

The achievement given erroneously has been fixed for the upcoming 1.05 patch.

Allies and C/S will probably end giving regions when the new diplomacy system is in place, you'll have to ask nicely 8)

Some modifiers are there as a counter weight to the tendency to snowball also.

1.05 will fix the issue on metal being removed wrongly from the stockpile. Also, some improvements on dynamic objectives.

There will be some further tweaks on dynamic objectives in 1.05. They are only given if you are at war or really hate the guts of a given nation (like -50 rels or worse). Then, a region from one such nation is picked, provided it has either a world wonder or a combination of 20 population and tier I...

A fraction of the current stockpile is given to others regions, within a province, so that's normal that the one with a big stockpile is losing some of it.

That's definitively not a bug. This is to represent the limited (all things relative) number of legions fielded at a given time. The increase is +25% for Early Republic Legion, and fall to +15% for Marian then +10% to Imperial, representing the bigger military fielded at this time. That's another bo...

Got the saves, but that's not the highest culture total that counts, but the highest output (it gives more control to the player)

There is simply no way to balance FOGE so that tier 3 nations will have similar starting opportunities to the tier 1s without creating a completely ahistorical game. I think that's a good summary of the situation... But I'm not closing door here to another aspect mentioned. Even if third rate natio...
