GS 4.00 AAR Vokt (Axis) vs Plaid (Allies)

Battle of the Atlantic (1940-1941) German u-boats have been steadily attacking and ambushing convoys throughout 1940. Effectiveness of sub attacks reached its peak on the 2nd half of that year when a 4th submarine unit was available. It would have to mention that subs moved well, skillfully calcula...

June 27, 1940. After a couple of turns, Allies right flank has been wiped out, Germans gaining complete access to Paris from the SE. Battle of the Atlantic Kriegsmarine subs started early to attack convoys. Northern convoy has been attacked twice in 1939 or, in other words, 2 northern convoys have spawned in 1939 and both have been attacked. U-boats will have convoys as their priority, avoiding if possible engaging with Allied e...

GS 4.00 AAR Vokt (Axis) vs Plaid (Allies)

I finally decided to make an AAR of an ongoing PBEM GS 4.0 game I'm currently playing with Plaid so here we go. Plaid will be able to read and comment this AAR from the very first turn since this game will have much of testing and familiarising with the many new things added to the game. Definitive ...

If there's still time for it, there you go the edited air units counters.

POTZBLITZ mod Update V3.4 (DEC 11th)

POTZBLITZ mod Update V3.4 (DEC 11th)

I propose this because the 'F' for fighter and the 'B' for bomber the counters is hardly distinguished in lower zoom levels.

Re: POTZBLITZ mod Update V3.4 (DEC 11th)

Would it be worthy to change air units counters with the corresponding unit symbols for each type of air unit?

I mean fighter symbol is just like this:

Re: POTZBLITZ mod Update V3.4 (DEC 11th)

Finally I was able to do the screenshots.

Robotron, guessing that with the coding you've made the box showed on the top left corner in the unit panel will show the new symbols instead (image below is highlighted the box I'm referring):

POTZBLITZ mod Update V3.4 (DEC 11th)

That's outstanding work on the counters, Robotron.

BTW, how do you guys manage to take screenshots from CTGW? I tried the normal way (Imppt) and got no results.

POTZBLITZ mod Update V3.4 (DEC 11th)

Because of a name change? Not because the name change but because those units were excessively weak, IMO. In fact, I have never guessed what the CTGW Slitherine-Lordz team wanted to accomplish by including these small garrisons units. If from now on referred units are going to be the ones tasked wi...

or it just a name change
I believe that for now is only name change. It could be added some additional combat value though.

And if small garrisons are going to be now garrisons, it could be slightly raised their defensive capabilities.
