Yeah I figured I was pretty screwed when I went to war, then she stomped me with Goliath mechs and loaded my continent up with about 15 colonizers at once. It escalated very quickly on the lag, when from 5-10 sec turns to minute plus very very quickly.

I finally saw an AI air unit built, but I stomped it in the city it was in before it could attack with it - not sure how long it was there before I pulled up.

Yeah, wish they had patch notes on the little patches so we know if it is just a bugfix or feature advancement. Have to get back up in to research for the terraform stuff. Was nearly there after first 0.16.0 release, then the 17 patch update and invalidated that game, lol.

Not sure - I've had a few times happen with 0.16.0, but I haven't snagged a save game. It did lag badly right after Friday nights' update to 0.16.0, but its cleared up after Saturdays' 17 patch update - though it did kill the save games I had.

I don't think tanks moving 2 squares makes ATV's obsolete. ATV's are fast and cheap scout units, while tanks are heavy hitters and more expensive. Giving them the same amount of movement points doesn't make them mutually exclusive. Now, if we start talking about how air units make every other unit ...

Once the last city dies, the faction goes out on the following turn. Even if you have units on the board so to say. Sounds like a bug.

Thoughts on the AI issues - every game I've hit near end game I've taken over AI cities that have had tons of formers and colonizers in them. Might want to check the code on that to where if x number of total or 50% or something is inactive (not actively forming or moving to form) the AI will delete...

I've had at least 10 at one time before used in the same turn. Sure, but the drawback to using all of them at once is that you have to wait for them all to cooldown. I was suggesting that you can use a few at a time, and never have a turn without at least being able to bombard something . Of course...

Going along with the Orbital Bombardment - if we can push satellites in space to shoot stuff down, you'd think one of the researches would be we could build spy satellites that could unlock the map for a duration - or build a unit that could keep a small section of the map clear from fog of war, may...

Yes. Yes it does... Also I remember having a 2 hex "lake" that had an AI controlled city next to it. That lake had 2 ships in it, in the middle of a continent map. Need to eyeball the code on that one.
