Nice work Horst. I've noticed this immersion breaking behaviour now that you mention it.

Re: [Boardgame's Counter MOD] 2D Counter for Panzerkrieg

I like this and I see myself using it selectively for specific player made scenarios. The official ones being designed for the models. For example, if Erik were to complete a single player Market Garden, an absolute historical classic campaign, I've a feeling I may go for the NATO counters just to g...

Re: 2v2 Market Garden playtest

If you play as the British, should the AI handle the US and vice versa? Same goes for Wehrmacht and Waffen SS. Lots of interesting combinations. I've seen the Allies work well where the British column is AI, as after all they just need to keep going, and the US forces at the Bridges are player cont...

Re: Adding Auxillaray Units, inside a campaign?

In general you can only purchase core units and deploy thwm if you have enough command points. You cannot purchase aux units. One of the great beauties of OoB in my opinion is the resource management. Nurturing and developing your core force, including upgrades and officers, scenario to scenario th...

Re: 2v2 Market Garden playtest

For me in MG both sides are fascinating and with totally different challenges, Allies tends to have a higher Fun factor as there are more choices to make and its dynamic. That said trying to hold them up at the bridges so that you can cap Arnhem and stop the advance can be so tense and absorbing... ...

Re: 2v2 Market Garden playtest

Hi Erik,

Not pushing, much, but just interested to know whether a single player version of MG would ever be considered? I imagine the AI, timing and triggers would be onerous, but I live in hope.

Try Jonnie Nuutinen's 'Conflict - Series' on Android if you need a quality operational wargame for Tablet.

Re: Germany Grand Campaign

Probably wise. I and I'm thinking a number of players have reluctantly put the grand campaign on ice pending a game engine update in hope. It fixes the game turn AI freeze.

Nice, don't know too much about that Battle, except from an old movie.. What are the main points of interest and challenge may I ask?

Re: Beaches of Normandy

Can't play for 2 weeks as away, but love these ideas. It's pretty neat allowing the player a decision to allow more enemy units with the expectation of a leader if successful. Looking forward to this one when I get back.

Re: Please correct max zoom typo in variables.txt

A min of 10 and max 100 works a treat for me and a few others who mentioned it. My computer isn't all that impressive these days and it seems fine with the changes, runs sweet. By the way, I personally think the enhanced zooms do enhance game-play somewhat, enabling you to select a better and optimi...

Re: Custom Campaigns are currently bugged

the campaign mods have issues with graphics and animations, which seems to be the primary problem with playability, as well as (I assume) units.

Re: Custom Campaigns are currently bugged

Thanks Bru, I was aware that the Finnish mod was a player made one. I had assumed, probably wrongly, that the errors, identical to BoB, were in the game engine and therefore from 5.2.3 or the 64 bit upgrade. It would be great if Uhu could run the mod through the new Editor and I can give it another ...

Re: Beaches of Normandy

Thanks Terminator, Yes, I remember now, it was Les Moulins. It was quite quick to take out the Arty. I like all of your update suggestions and Pont Du Hoc is a great idea for a follow up, very time relevant to the beaches. I did take the Rangers (how could I not! :) ), I didn't know the consequences...

Custom Campaigns are currently bugged

Hi, sorry for the shout-out, but its a bit frustrating and I'm just looking for an acknowledgement of the problem from the Devs. I appreciate they have a lot on their hands, but that a patch is on its way, so its worth mentioning.. As with Battle of Britain (BoB) which is pretty much totally broken,...

Re: Hidden fonctionalities AND ZOOM OUT FUNCTION

How long has this been broken? I've done the manual fix as suggested (thank you) and it radically changes the perspective of the game. min to 10 and max to 60 works very well. Not only can I now zoom in and see the lovely landscape and details of the unit models and zoom out for a decent strategic v...

Re: Beaches of Normandy

Terminator = loved it! possibly my most enjoyable standalone player vs AI scenario yet. Feels like a classic, good work! Do you plan to do a German player vs AI version? Some observations for you to consider: I played on mid level (level3) - Resources felt about right, I ran out when I should, so it...
