Re: Trade interface is confusing

In the example above, perhaps 'recommended to offer' could be clearer as 'known needs in Ptolemaic Kingdom'
'recommended to request' could be 'known surpluses in Ptolemaic Kingdom'

However, in my opinion it's perfectly clear as is.

Gets better and better. I await your changes with bated breath ... well, not really. But with interest, for sure.

Re: [MOD] Alexander the Great

It's a great mod/scenario. I'm having fun just going around trying various countries, dabbling. Like the grand ole classic, Ancient Mediterranean, there are practically unlimited possibilities for this one.

I had to replace RoundCursor with the open circle one to be able to see things.

Re: [MOD] Alexander the Great

It's easy to suggest things, when not doing any of the work, so: 1) have the current scenario, which is generally a free-for-all, you could never really predict which faction would come out on top; 2) have another scenario for the same mod with the historical weights towards Macedonia and to a lesse...

Re: [MOD] Alexander the Great

Currently this scenario has all the factions pretty much on a par at startup, eg Macedonia has neighbors which are almost if not the same power. That should result in a great game experience, but not necessarily approaching an historical outcome. A mistake or two by the human player as Macedonia at ...

Fabulous mod. Don't mind my small comments on graphics. You know from experience I have zero fine arts taste.

To me the plains tile graphic looks like dried mud flats.

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

No Roman Legion set foot in our lands, but the the people had had enough war and strife. Unrest and riots hit every city. There were no more funds for troops, no more iron for repairs. The King fled the capitol with his retinue, and had to change headquarters three times, till finally the realm look...

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

The Chroniclers will have the last word, as always.

The Bructeri may be said to have brought their own end upon themselves, with their hubris.

The final war continued, and the final indignity for the Bructeri was this:

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

Ten years of peace were wisely spent settling new towns, extending roads, establishing a fleet, creating an opportunity for more population growth. But all that was shattered when all our neighbors turned on us. The new generation hardly remembers our elders proclaiming the end of Roman influence he...

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

The Romans tell us that it is the 710th year since the founding of their great city far away. We simply know it as the Year of Peace. The long war with the Chauci and Frisii is over. For now. In the last year the people have settled back down, trade is now booming, a new Bructeri village has been fo...

The disadvantageous trades for the AI has become a lot less since the latest patch, as of yesterday or the day before on Steam. Now the AI is refusing when I try to screw them over.

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

Gone from bad to worse

The Frisii-Chauci alliance is advancing both in our lands and those of our friends the Chamavi. The Bructeri people are now abandoning the cause, leaving the towns that might be targeted by the enemy, and running to the hills and forests.

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

Winter of Discontent, 7 years into the warring with the Chauci The refusal of the Chauci to follow the Bructeri lead has led to years of raiding by warriors of both sides. It has embittered our people, with the never-ending threat and drain. The people can't get ahead. The Bructeri were punishing th...

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

Some members of the Bructeri council of elders disagreed so much with the plan to wipe out the Romans that they led their followers to defect from the cause.

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

Some tribes have not accepted Bructeri leadership. Diplomacy must prevail. We don't have time or resources to waste fighting each other.

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

The Bructeri have a rich land. But admittedly we are poor sailors. To fight the Romans, we will have to defeat their river patrols.

Re: Rome must be driven from our lands! A Bructeri AAR

The Bructeri start off separated from the Romans by other tribes. But all the tribes to the east of the Rhine, and many of those west of the great river, have reason to want the Romans to be driven away. Rome demands tribute from all the tribes, but now the Bructeri say NO MORE! We will try to unite...
