Re: What's everyones experience with ... experience?

Thank you for explaining what the experience skulls do. This should be explained in the manual, or even better, as a tooltip in the game when you hover over the skulls. Please fix the game so you see the adjusted stats due to experience. This was annoying to not see it displayed in Panzer Corps with...

Got it. That makes sense. I wish it was explained in the manual. Oh wait, I wish everything was explained in the manual. :o)

Re: Please give us better explanation of predicted combat re

Thank you, Aloo. That explains it. So, the 3/3, or 1/3, or whatever it may be, is a damaged unit. So, If I have 3 strength, and 1/3, that means I have four total units (3 full strength), and one unit with 1 hit point left? Or does it mean I have three total units and one of them has 1 hit point left...

Rest & Refit vs. Replenish

What is the difference between Rest & Refit and Replenish, please?

And, since ammo is out, what else does Rest & Refit do?

Thanks!

Re: Can we get a PC UI?

I feel the font is way, way to large. Some unit names don't even fit in the unit boxes, they are cut off on the left and right. Reduce the font of everything. The command bar with unit bar up takes a whopping 1/3rd of the entire game screen. That is way, way too much in my opinion. Basically, everyt...

Re: Documentation, or lack thereof

I know you guys will improve this game and make it the best it can be, with detailed and comprehensive combat mechanic explanations. I just want to second genehaynes comment about the Pike & Shot manual. It is one of the best Slitherine manuals I have read in a long time, maybe ever. That is the lev...

There is chat in between turns, no? Like Panzer Corps, Hell, Battle Academy, all Slitherine games? Or, was this left out?

Re: Feedback

I hope much more detailed information is high on your list about the game mechanics of how each weapon, range, armor, penetration, morale, hit points, etc. work. The game is fantastic, but seriously lacking in explaining how combat works in WH40K. More detailed tooltips, an encyclopedia explaining e...

Cool. Thank you, Kerensky. I haven't gotten very far yet, but I will be on the lookout for these special units!

Re: Vague mission objectives and unit descriptions trouble.

So, the special markings that differentiate the objective units from regular units is that the red horizontal lines around the units strength are about one millimeter longer? This seems rather vague. Unless that is what you were going for with the scenario design, vague objectives that you have to a...

Re: Combat Mechanics - Tips & Tricks & Guides

Thank you so much, Beetlelord, for putting all this information together. You, or whoever wrote this summary, are awesome. This simple, yet detailed summary is much, much better than the entire game manual and tutorial put together. I'm sorry to say, but I had no idea about any combat mechanics unti...

Thanks warscream. But, I had two Lehman Russes, and one of them was #23. Shouldn't they be #1 and #2? I don't get it.

What are the #s next to each unit's name?

For example, Lehman Russ (#23), or Flamers (#6). Those aren't exact names because I don't remember them, but what do the numbers mean, please?

Also - many unit names do not fit into the description box on the right side of the screen. They get cut off on the left and/or right side of the box.

Re: Enemy turn moves way, way too fast

Ok, I think the problem is that it appears there is a bug where the movement speed slider is not saved. I lower the slider bar, and every time I load my saved game it is back to the middle of the slider bar.

Re: Please give us better explanation of predicted combat re

Thank you. More things are being explained by fans of the game, and not the developers! So, the combat prediction numbers are in hit points, and not units lost like Panzer Corps? So, how do I read this . . . my Lehman Russ has 5 strength, and 3/3 hit points. What does this mean? Another unit, a Stee...

Re: In-game Unit descriptions

There is too much assumption of players being familiar with a particular army. This is it in a nutshell. Many of us are not familiar with how WH40k combat works, and your game does absolutely nothing to teach us that. 300+ units, but I have no idea why one is better than the other. Poor forethought...

Re: How does combat work?

That is very helpful stuff, sdeix75. Again, WHY IS THIS STUFF NOT EXPLAINED IN THE GAME OR MANUAL?!? This frustrates me to no end. These are full price games, and you don't explain anything about how the combat works. This is the most useful piece of information from sdeix75 that I have read so far....

Please give us better explanation of predicted combat result

I am quite often seeing predicted results that don't even come close to what actually happens in the combat. I know these numbers are just predictions, and there are still die rolls to do, but I am quite often seeing stuff like -6/-4, and neither side does any damage, or one Sentinel of mine having ...

Excellent suggestion. I knew something was missing when I was wondering how far my units could spot things. All stats need to be available at all times.
