Re: Error explaining the formation of provinces. Spanish translation is not good enough.

I know there is a lot of work for translating the descriptions of all the military units, traits, historical references, buildings, etc. I don't care to play the game on english, but it would be a pity to see this beautiful game having negative critics due to translation. I've seen this in other gam...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Manual

After read it, I must give congrats to devs for the manual they've done. It's very well detailed and very understandable. There is a lot of work put on it. It would be interesting to distinguish between Historical Provinces and Administrative Provinces or something like that. The term Province seems...

Re: Error explaining the formation of provinces. Spanish translation is not good enough.

As I have enough time (I'm on holidays until sunday), I'm going to post some incoherences I've seen in the video with the spanish version. I do this in order to help. No problem if you don't take this into account. - Defensiveness – Actitud defensiva (defensive attitude) BAD TRANSLATION Suggestion: ...

Please note that the Spanish translation was not final (not even complete) in the build played.
I see there are parts that aren't translated yet. What worries me is the incoherences that appear in already translated words or phrases.

Re: Error explaining the formation of provinces. Spanish translation is not good enough.

Watching in detail this video in spanish, I see enough mistakes in spanish translation that makes me think I'll play the english version. I see incoherences on the descriptions that appear when the youtuber is hovering the mouse over things. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXSHpZ_stX0 In this video ...

Error explaining the formation of provinces. Spanish translation is not good enough.

In the manual you can learn that "a province can be formed when you control at least half of the province’s regions". I captured an image from a video of a spanish youtuber. Hovering over the map overlay of provinces, the explanation in spanish says that you need to control more than 51% of regions ...

Re: First Single Player Playthrough ?

I've found an interesting map on a recent video with full of provinces:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8adN84CKX5Y

At minute 24:24 you can see a nice map.

Is a pain for my eyes to see Hispania Citerior province in the north west of Spain, but anyway, beautiful view.

Re: First Single Player Playthrough ?

All factions  . No problem. I'll wait 2 weeks. One question. How stable is the game on its current version? is it perfectly playable or is better to wait? Even If there are minor bugs I prefer to wait and play solid games, no matter the waiting time. A beta tester would need to answer that...

Re: First Single Player Playthrough ?

It would be nice to see a worldmap screenshot with the current provinces that are in the game.

For what I've learned from the manual, one of the first things is to conquer enough regions in order to create a province (controlling at least 50% of regions).

Can someone post a screenshot?

Re: First Single Player Playthrough ?

I'm a proud spanish from Valencia, close to Saguntum, so I'll start the first campaign with Bohemians jeje.

I see bohemians nation is surrounded by independent regions. it seems an easy campaign for beginners.

Re: Check the latest screenshots!

It depends of the battle outcome, win, loss, draw, participating leaders may die. I undestand that if an army is pursued, the fleeing general has more possibilities of being killed than the winning general, but, in the video battle I've post, the enemy general (Bertix of Senones) dies when his army...

Re: Check the latest screenshots!

I'd like to ask you the next question (I asked it in another thread but it wasn't answered): I see that generals (like in real history) are an important factor to win the battle, but how they die In FoG:E? I saw a video of DasTactic in which enemy defending from romans has a leader with a defense ra...

Provinces of Hispania Ulterior and Baetis are named wrongly

I was watching Salivan FoGE video showing the provinces, and Hispania Ulterior province never has been the northwest swath of Spain. In any case, Hispania Ulterior was named to the swaths of the South and South-West of Spain. I would name the northwestern province "Gallaecia", and its eastern region...
