Re: Release Date Release Date?

If at the end of June could be the release date, then the release date of the release date can be at the end of May :D

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Challenge #2 – Carthage

I am a little disappointed by the small number of challenge 2 videos. There were a lot more for the first challenge. Only found DasTactic and Freelance Gaming so far. Both are excellent with each taking a different strategy. Thanks to DasTactic, I am really beginning to understand the nuts and bolt...

Re: Release Date Release Date?

Watching that all the core features are explained in dev diaries, we don't have to wait much longer. July perhaps?

My guess is that slitherine has already a release date set

Re: Huge negative critics on Imperator:Rome

I usually read RockPaperShotgun and they don't give "Bestest Bests" recommendation easily, but with Imperator they did it

Re: Huge negative critics on Imperator:Rome

39% of positive steam reviews and 6000 steam reviews today.

That poor percentage means a big amount of people who are not going to adquire the game in the near future.

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Challenge #2 – Carthage

I see Saguntum region is not well placed yet (should be in Sucro region). Happy to see more nations in comparison with the initial map from months ago: Gothones and Burgundi in the north, Brigantes in Britain, Parisii y Venitii in France, another nation north of Rethia, etc. Edit: 80 playable nation...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Dev Diary #9 Battle System

I see that generals (like in real history) are an important factor to win the battle, but how they die In FoG:E? I saw a video of DasTactic in which enemy defending from romans has a leader with a defense rating of 2 (2 dices more). This battle ends with a draw but the enemy leader dies (because he ...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Challenge #2 – Carthage

The hype train is running. I enjoyed watching the first challenge and I'd like to see the second challenge, but I think I'll wait to the release in order to discover by myself the different regions, units, factions, etc. I live close to Sagunto, and playing this faction for me is a must 8) Saguntum...

Do losses mean destroyed units or simply losing efectiveness points and hitpoints (even if the unit is not destroyed)?

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Dev Diary #9 Battle System

I'd like to ask you what is needed to win the combat and enter to pursuit phase: a positive difference of partial victories (for example: one infantry unit takes a result of 12 and the enemy 11 and no unit is destroyed)? a positive difference of destroyed enemy units? this positive difference depend...

Re: Field of Glory: Empires Dev Diary #9 Battle System

Beautiful Dev Diary. I like a lot the auto-combat combat feature. I'm eager to test the different units from diferent nations on different terrains.

Congrats devs for the good work ;)

Re: Huge negative critics on Imperator:Rome

On the other hand this number of reviews also tells me that the game sold well. They have a very big fan base. There is a big fan base and that is positive, but with that scores lots of people will wait to buy Imperator until it has more content, stability and a lesser price. If anyone is intereste...

Re: Huge negative critics on Imperator:Rome

Only 3 days and 3700 steam reviews (more than Pillars of Eternity 2 in one year) and 45% of positive reviews. Terrible release. It seems like they had no people testing the game. To avoid this, paradox could have released the game in early access warning people that the game has certain problems yet.

Re: Huge negative critics on Imperator:Rome

On Imperator steam forum, someone opened a thread asking how good FoG:Empires is, and people posting answers are positive with FoGE.

Huge negative critics on Imperator:Rome

Sorry if perhaps this topic is not correct to put it here but, have you seen the terrible score of Imperator:Rome? Only 50% (of almost 2000 now) are positive critics, and people say the game is empty and very inestable. I liked a lot Pillars of eternity 1 of Obsidian and Paradox. Paradox has a good ...

No nordic tribes?

I see in the map there are lots of regions in the current Poland and Denmark that are empty of plyable nations.

I know that is difficult to establish exactly what tribes where in 310BC in these regions, but perhaps 2 o 3 playable nations could be added.

Re: Independent regions and generals in their armies

Noooo, those independent or rebel armies are already too annoying, they can be so aggressive and you have to give up whatever you are trying to do to, to protect some unremarkable corner of your existing empire Then, do independent regions attack your dominions? I thought they were static. yes they...

Re: Independent regions and generals in their armies

Playing as the Thracians I didn't find those independent regions at all easy unless I amassed a huuuuge army - I needed at least 2:1 odds to be sure of beating them and having a useful army left over. You are lucky to be able to use those Dacian heavy infantry that fight well in forest (or hills, d...
