Re: Ave Dr or Poor Vet??

With the new extended line rules they are more resilient. Their shooting will remain the same, you will have to reroll 6's for CMT and cohesion, but 3 dice might make a difference

Re: FOGN 2nd Edition

If a unit declares a charge on a wavering unit, and the target fails its test and therefore breaks, and there is no other valid target onto which the charger can re-direct (or they choose not to re-direct), do the chargers have to move their full move distance after the original (now fleeing) targe...

Re: Turning Unlimbered Artillery

I believe it got change to the pivot if enemy within 2 MU. So can pivot 1 MU I think it is. Only infantry in tactical can turn to face, if in extended line it also gets a pivot.

Re: 1815 Prussians, which list is better

Im currently painting up Prussians, havent used them past 1813 in mixed allied army so far but, here is my 2 cents worth. I suggest you take a skilled corps commander, you might need the extra point and still want to move him. I would suggest going with a rifle skrimisher and cavalry attachment in o...

Re: Budding daimyo looking for fun?

Keyth im tempted to join in but I feel overloaded with Caricole tourneys and two of your other campaigns already. At present I would like to place myself on the reserve list. I have tried a few of the new mod skirmishes and would like to play but am feeling a bit over committed these days.

The majority of the Catholic infantry managed to stay back out of melee and shot the Sw...

Re: routing battery

I suppose they were trying to make the point that spent is a permanent cohesion state, then tell you how you become spent.

You are right it could probably use a cleaning up in V2

Re: routing battery

We use spent counters. We spend all that time and money don't want to be popping off bases.
other way I guess would be to go with one gun model and an empty base. As long as your blank base is the same size what difference should it make? Definitely not as good looking as a full battery though.

Re: Impetuous charges

Check the rules you can't move through a routing unit period. A unit making any kind of move can not interpenetrate a routing unit. To make a charge you have to be able to make a normal move, which you can not make through routers, so routers would block any charge move so no impetuous charge throug...

Re: Impetuous charges

You cant ever interpenetrate through a routing unit so he could not have charged through them. Not sure they could have charged through the river either. To make an impetuous charge the charging unit still has to be able to contact the enemy otherwise no charge, impetuous or otherwise. In both those...
