Low Supply for Partisans

I have always been unsatisfied with the no-supply status for partisans as it seems to inevitably result in the Axis pinning the partisans down and then destroying them a couple turns later when their effectiveness is zero. Does anyone have any experience going after Russia's oil production in a mod game? It's Dec '42 and the front is essentially defined by the Dneipr with the Luftwaffe having achieved air dominance thanks to more and better fighters. (Me 262's are just around the corner) A strategic bomber force coul...

Any thoughts as to bringing 1.12 games into 2.0? (we are in Dec '42 and I suspect will have about another year under belt by the time 2.0 rolls out) Steve That's not possible. This has to do with the fact that games saved in the newer version will contain more data fields than those save in v1.12. ...

Perhaps the most decisive factor in destroying armor--or any other unit for that matter--is timing. If you are trying to demolish a full strength unit that is dug in, well, good luck. The trick is to find/create opportunities to destroy units via counterattacks, which typically enjoy the following a...

I like January '41 over June...one should have the option to make tradeoffs between concentrating on the Balkans vice North Africa vice an early Barbarossa.

1) Tech Upgrades: When units are eligible for upgrades it would be great to see which upgrades they are eligible for vice the generic X/Y formula. Better still would be the ability to select which upgrades to apply. The documentation associated with our mod includes a research PDF document that sho...

For Hastati & co. My apology for these 11th hour suggestions for BJR 2.0 but I'm hoping that late is better than never. I hope that as least some will be easy to accommodate while others may admittedly be beyond the scope of what you want to attempt at this point. Regardless, I am very much looking ...

do modders take requests? (elite units)

If so, I would like to throw down the following gauntlet: Background: The elite units of the varying nationalities tended to have a major impact on the battles in which they were present and became legendary (even in defeat). Alas, CEAW only indirectly addresses elite units throught the experience m...
