Re: BA2 Scenarios by Enric

What is really, really needed is a 2 vs 2 version. Would be so cool to play team against team.

Unit ratios

After having played several scenarios I have noticed a recurring issue where the attacker struggles to employ numerical superiority due to the number of units. Leaders often seem to be getting in the way. :-/. I think this is because squad leader scenarios assume that units can stack--esp where mult...

Re: BA2 Scenarios by Enric

Actually I kind of like idea of eliminating woods...makes wire more formidable. :-)
Looking forward to more scenarios with fortifications!

Fortifications!!!!

Kudos to Enric for figuring out a clever work-around that finally addresses a glaring deficiency in defensive strategy--particularly in urban areas. Of course no good deed goes unpunished, and so I respectfully request the conversion of Red Barricades scenarios--or at least the Commissars House. :-)

ATMM

The Germans were so sure the Allies would use them that they developed a paste ("Zimmerit") that would prevent ATMM from sticking to a vehicle. It was used for most of 1944 until it became clear that their fears were unfounded. As the panzerfaust (and panzershreck) proved themselves on the battlefie...

Hube balance

Absolutely love scenario but seems unwinnable for Germans...too many ways for Russians to infiltrate units through perimeter. What are other's experience? I' m thinking either reduce Russian forces and/or exit #

Ps bravo Enric!

Well done

Veritas and me think Hube's Pocket may dethrone Arnhem as the best MP scenario ever made (just finished first game--Soviet win).

re Stalingrad scenarios, would love to someday see mods for tunnels and hidden fortified buildings (looks like building but has stats of bunker)

Re: how many engineers does it take to build a pontoon?

The rules say you need two--on either side of channel--however I was able to build one with only one... No, the rules say you need four engineers actions, if you put one in each side you will get your pontoon earlier. Ok now I see what was intended. Suggest revising to the following: Building a pon...

Crossing the River

Played two coop games, and, well, ugh. Got close second time with -90 handicap to compensate for Intel. It seems unwinnable for Axis, esp on first try. Were we just incompetent?

more OB abilities (ex: Rally)

A couple thoughts: "Famous General" allows refresh of any other ability in 2 less rounds. Has 3 round refresh. "Intelligence": scouts tile anywhere on board + adjacent tiles. Refresh 3. "Fanatic Defender" specified tile provides +50 morale for rest of game. Refresh 2 Also want to figure out somethin...

Re: Battle for Seelow Heights... Road to Berlin

6: like riders but limit to vehicles of sufficient size (> 70mm gun) 9: smoke needs much greater overhaul per previous post though probably something for Pip to address 12: generally agree. Fire alone shouldn't require bailing out but changing turret cover arc should regardless of fire (no idea if t...

Re: Battle for Seelow Heights... Road to Berlin

As mentioned in previous post I like Panther purchase. Re panzerfausts (PF), in mid-43 all infantry types were issued PF and in increasingly prodigious quantities as the need to stem the Asiatic armored horde became more urgent in 44-45. That there is a unit limit argues even more strongly for makin...
