A few bugs

Had a couple bugs in last turn of new game; did not see 262 strike nor nebelwerfer and recon mission occurred but no effect either in terms of animation or game effect. Also had several moves that were "forgotten". I saved turn then completed but can't imagine that would have caused any problems.

Re: Battle for Seelow Heights... Road to Berlin

Just finished first game with Veritas and also witnessed sharp defeat of Germans. The script was nearly identical to that of GL88/cavehobbit's game where my forward defense along the H line was overrun with only modest Soviet losses. Infantry in particular were essentially sitting ducks despite bein...

Seelow Heights - Inherent Panzerfaust Capability

ASL'ers out there are painfully aware that Panzerfausts have been MIA. It occurs to me that all infantry types could be given an inherent capability tied to their AT bombs, ie shooting a PF counts as an AT bomb usage. Range of 2 I should think. Welcome thoughts.

Seelow Heights - German OB

Would like to see it opened up a bit to include a couple of what I think were fairly commonly available units that have been used in other scenarios: --Panthers(!) --PzIV --MG34 and esp MG42 --120mm mortar --Panzershreck teams Would also like to put in a general plug for Enric's leader and leader ge...

Seelow Heights - Recon Aircraft

Absolutely love the recon aircraft but have no idea what to expect from them and so not sure where to try to use. Welcome any details you can provide re size of area and extent to which they can spot units not in open ground.

Re: Vistula to Berlin - Seelow Heights scenario now availabl

OMG...cannot wait to try

And from the No Good Deed Goes Unpunished file I think you now need to take on Battle For the Reichstag. Don't forget to include the Tiergarten FLaK tower or Hitler Youth Panzerfaust teams!

2015 wish list

1) Better and more multi-player scenarios. The AI has improved to be sure but is still light years away from the challenge of a savvy human opponent. 2) 2 vs 2 multi-player. 2) Stalingrad expansion--with several good MP scenarios :-) 3) Add fortifications to deployable OB, ie the map may not be fini...

Re: BA2 Scenarios by Enric

Absolutely love the leaders...should be a standard across all BA scenarios.

Also noticed a couple things that were inexplicably overlooked:

--no deployment option
--where are snipers? (see Enemy At The Gates)
--no rubble/wire/shell holes/fortifications. Ain't it Stalingrad? :-)

Re: Skirmish Mode:OOB availability and Scenario selection

Really wish we could pick from every unit that was available at a given time...would happily scroll through a multi-page catalog of Eastern Front goodness. Also would provide for setting that puts cap on % of points that can be spent on any one unit type, ie prevent Russian OB constituted entirely o...

Re: Placing fortifications

Sorry...meant as part of purchase/set-up. I have iPad so don't think editing is option until iOS version comes out. Would like to see each type of fortification available for individual purchase, perhaps with caveat that each additional purchase of a given type costs 30% more so as to keep them from...

Re: ASL Conversions?

AI is only good for learning, which is why I am disappointed at lack of 2 vs 2 MP and that MP are all meeting engagement. I am hoping/praying/hoping/praying Stalingrad will feature historical carryover campaign with 2 vs 2 option. Market-Garden was only really satisfying expansion...it was so much f...

plea for prioritizing multi-player

I really, really, really hope that BA2 is designed primarily for multi-player, including the capability for team v team play. It is all I want for Christmas really.

Re: Feature: Strategic Layer

Some of my fondest tactical memories are playing ASL campaign games, esp Red Barricades, where knowing you will have to fight tomorrow makes for much more realistic decisionmaking. I would pay a *lot* for a game with good team vs team play and historical campaign games.

small price to pay

Given that there are few, and I mean few, team-type games out there it seems to me that having to wait for all four players to put in their orders is an exceedingly small price to pay for the enjoyment that would attend with playing in team format. The solution here isn't software, its communicating...

Re: when does cover benefit for not moving kick in?

What I'm trying to gauge is how ensure the bonus applies during my opponent's turn. It makes sense that it would not apply during my turn once I move (and my opponent takes "reaction fire") but does my moving a unit preclude it from applying during my opponent's turn? Am playing Fast & Sneaky and th...

when does cover benefit for not moving kick in?

Does anyone know if unit has to spend a turn not moving to get the added benefit?

Thanks!
