A good way to play Vs AI

The more i play the more i like this game. It catches many points of tabletop game with miniatures and i am glad of it. I really enjoy playing multiplayer for all opponents i found are polite and share many comments on the game and historical aspect regarding armies involved or tactical discussions....

Indeed i have to mention that Welsh units are a real challenge for everyone, it is an underrated but extremely tough army. Welsh bows are strong, Welsh spears have great mobility and may overlap many enemies. I do believe that, in my game, welsh spears made a great effort in having a greater number ...

I can provide you some elements on what jdbleed is talking about. We have a game on 250pts he had Enlish HYW with longobows and heavy foot (dismounted knights i presume) and some units of heavy knights; i was welsh full of welsh spear and wels bows with a little detachment of cavalry. The question o...

Really interesting. I just dowloaded from Games Workshop website the free tabletop rules called "Warmaster"; i do not like Warhammer approach to tabletop game, BUT i have to say that "Warmaster" is really different from warhammer and it reminds me of DBM and even Field of Glory. It should be interes...

Just playing this scenario for the second time against pete and i have to say that is really a good one. I played as english and won, now i am trying scots and it is a real challenge (even if it seems that the battle should turn on highlanders side :D ) I noticed, from scottish side, that a mere all...

Just read yesterday the DBR army list (the second book) for Montrose and the Irish Pikes are considered PK (I) (so really poor pikes) for they were undrilled and with really short pikes to be a real threat on the battlefield.

I will take a look on FOG renaissance and the pike-muskets question as debated by MikeK.

Indeed the Great War of the North and even the ideas ofthe Marechal Saxe give to the pike a strong role; so i think the FOGR can be a good starting point to think about XVIII warfare in Field of Glory.
