We mistakenly added it to the AM faction but GW corrected us and its not allowed to be part of that faction.

5. Relative unit scaling will be done when we have all the units. That would be great if this includes scaling to unit strength and will help tremendously with visual clarity, actually beating out 2D in that regard, which is only reflected in the strength plate. What happened 20 years ago has no bearing on the current market conditions. The game you refer to was just badly done 3D. Good 2D is better than bad 3D but neither are commercially viable.

As I said there is nothing you can do to stop 'progress'. No amount of wistful thinking can turn back the clock.

Much as I personally can see the appeal to the original PzC look, the key issues is that most people outside the hardcore PzC audience refuse to buy a 2D game. You can split in the field. See an opportunity to split your tanks and envelop the enemy - then you can do it. But you need to be able to survive the attempted break out.

When you see 3D moving you'll understanf why it looks so cool. Obviously all you have so far is flat screenshots so clearly you cant tell why its better than 2D pre rendered.

These are pre alpha screens. The size of units has not been set. Everything is likely to change.

The super units are very expensive and they all have strong counters. Building all of any type of unit is far from optimal and against an equal opponent you'll lose. The hardest settings have been suggested as low wildlife, low wire weed and impossible AI. I think with that you'll see a real challen...

The planet is very dangerous. The wildlife are as string as your main opponents early game or stronger. They're intended to be a challenge. It is not like Civ. You will often need multiple units to take one wildlife unit out.

Necrons are good on the lower difficulty levels. They lose their shine as you go up the levels.

We don't have any current plans for this. We currently do this through the tech tree so all units on a factions side are the same. So once you get medikits all your units have them. Unless you have strong visual clues about the upgrades it could get confusing for the player using the unit and oppone...

I've not seen a situation where resources are hidden. Can you give an example. Agree on the ridge lines and we are looking for a solution.

Devastator marines will make short work of most Necrons (remember not to move and fire). Assault Marines also take on warriors easily. Your heroes are extremely tough so let them soak up damage while hitting from behind with supporting units.

Have you tried altering the game speed as this changes how quickly things build and techs research?
