Chariots of War chicken or egg

Just curious; did the original chariots come out before the "Total war" franchise?

Slings

Slinger units were common in this period and the Romans used then into AD times but they are not represented. Why?

I think events effect everyone but to be sure you would have to read through the events.txt file to see what it says. On diplomats - they should visit you as you woudl never get the chance to cut them up and boil them which is so much fun :) Must have forgot to use deodorant or something. I've play...

AI problems also apply to NPC City States?

I can see that locust destruction applies to all but I have seen no evidence that expanding cults do. Do other random events apply to NPCCSs such as burning wood supplies, etc? Warfighting Progress

Sorry you are having a problem. It's not something we have had reported before. Could it be an artifact of the specific setup of your empire? The game has been out a long time and it's the first time this behaviour has come up, so far as I know. Could you be running out of resources because of armi...

Economics Control

I've noticed that once an economy gets large, the game develops a mind of its own. Basically, all the work of setting each area of the economy each turn is wasted. For instance, say gold is set at 42, food is set at 100, materials at 60, copper at 150, etc. Once the "next turn" button is clicked on,...
