BUT alas it is too large to be a roman camp - it is really useable as a village It is slightly too large. I was going to use with a 12" template underneath, so it can be adjusted slightly it needs be. I was going to field it an an impassable area rather than a village. That way you don't have the p...

Re: Viking Leaders

Does anyone know if there is available a figure of a Viking leader being borne upon a shield by his followers? I have read sources of leaders being borne in such a way and wondered if there were figures available. Being born on the shield wounded or in Victory I seem to remember a wounded Viking in...

Why not just build your village on an old 12" vinyl record. They are the perfect size ready made. It could even have a well in the middle. Ideally one by The Village People.... I'll go now. I was thinking more Starship..............................We built this city on rock and roll The city that n...

I agree with Ethan and his comments I use small 1X4 boards with 24 to 32 holes drilled in each board. Each board is about 8 inches long and I glue each figure to a roofing nail with white glue. I like to keep each "unit" of figures between 8 figs and 32 figs - otherwise I go crazy. I have big finger...

There was some discussion that the size of a FOG-R camp was 180mm X 120mm NOT 180mm X 160mm I do not have the FOG-R rules and do not intent to buy it. A gamer was interested on one of my camps that I had for sale at the Flea Market @ Fall In. I have my camps for 25/28mm all built to the 180mm X 160m...

I use plastic plano boxes with adhesive magnets on the bottom of the trays and metal on my bases or magnets.

Baggage train has nice stuff - some of it on wheels. They are at most of the conventions in the US.

There is also battlefoam stuff. Very nice but mostly for 28/25mm

Another idea is Hobby Lobby in the jewelry making section. They have packes of prepainted wire that works great.
