Re: Why don't you give us a choice where to install DLC?

I can't edit any Weirdboy scenarios and then play them. The file is updated with the edits, but the changes do not show up in-game. With all other campaigns I copy folder to my documents, edit first campaign scenario, make copy of the original and place it in scenario folder (I do not play MP, so no...

Re: Why don't you give us a choice where to install DLC?

There's something else going on with this DLC. Try OrksLanding yourself and see if you can make it work.

Re: Why don't you give us a choice where to install DLC?

Sorry for the rant, gentlemen. It was late and I wanted to play the new Gettysburg game

Anyway, all my "issues" have been solved in a flash, and I again regret my short temper. I will try the editor tonight

Thank you,

Mike

Re: Why don't you give us a choice where to install DLC?

Even worse, why the hell can't we edit the DLC campaign missions in the editor? Works fine with the base game. And where are our Steam keys? Would have saved me a ton of time. I've spent thousands of dollars over the past 20 years - you can check me out - and I am asking for a formal refund on the D...

Why don't you give us a choice where to install DLC?

I intentionally installed SR base not under Program Files for a reason. So after purchasing the Weirdboy DLC today, it only gives me that place to install it. So I have to uninstall everything and start over. It cost me $10 - but my time messing with this is much more valuable. Why was this done whe...

Re: SweetFx - more Colored Sanctus (+Gamma Correction)

Put the preset you provided in the preset folder and everything else from downloaded program in game directory and messed up game. Had to reboot and remove the mod files manually. We need more detailed info on how/if this actually works.

Re: I would pay $19.99 for the DLC if it had this:

Frustration is understood. But you can easily take any mission of any campaign and put any units you want in there in the editor, save it, and done. If the editor wasn't easy to use, that would be different. However, I'm sure this "glitch" is almost as annoying to the devs as to some players! If by ...

Re: Where were we? Gettysburg: The Tide Turns releases this

Whatever I may have posted above, I humbly take back. I had no idea the game was only $9.99!

I will buy once the freeze bugs are addressed.

Now, as far as Brother vs Brother...

Re: Where were we? Gettysburg: The Tide Turns releases this

No game editor, no sale, unless files are moddable. That's just me. Plus, playing Gettysburg on the computer so many years with so many games. And the complete abandonment of Brother vs. Brother still leaves a bad taste in my mouth - which has nothing to do with Shenandoah! But it's a popular topic,...

Re: Order of Battle returns to Asia with Burma Road!

As others have said, this is a very creative choice; also, so as not to mimic the old Panzer Corps campaigns. Nor do I recall ever playing a digitized campaign covering Burma in the last 30 years ;)

Re: AWNT Review of Afghanistan '11

It might have been mentioned that there are still significant bugs in the release version, some of which will stop you from finishing a tutorial or campaign. Also, the micro-management aspect is fairly heavy. These come from various posts, not from my own experience. After 20 years of loyalty, I wil...

Re: How tedious are logistics in this game?

It is great to see some very incisive comments on game improvements that will help the community if "patched." Of course, not every idea will be possible. As one who is (humbly) in the running for buying everything Matrix throws out there, my new attitude is hurry up and wait. The game will be patch...

Re: Both Campaigns won. Personal impression

Templar Battleforce was one tough game for me. I am afraid to go back to it!

Sorry to hear about problems with the second campaign regarding leveling up. I am not there yet.

But yes, fun game and I think it will be improved as sales seem fairly good.

Re: Some thoughts and some requests

Overall, I am impressed with the efforts of the whole team on this game. Know nothing about WH, but it's a good tactical game. And it does allow you to easily mod a lot of changes to balance, but I know that can be a problem in MP.

As far as maximizing Force Points in skirmish, you can use cheat engine to keep replenishing points, although I have not gone crazy with that yet. :)

Re: Editor crashes with new patch

Pretty close! Scenarios will open but all the terrain objects are white. Most of us are plenty busy anyway, but really appreciate the quick response. Glad the game seems to be doing well, too.
