What is the consensus on Light Lance/Heavy Lance or Impact Pistol/Impact Mtd? I know that I prefer 1/2 /3 points.
Also, what is the view on CS costs?

In play tests I have found them to be very difficult to use successfully. The only reason I now use them in my Swedish army is because they are a cheap BG. Maybe this is historical, but if it sees the omission of dragoons from lists it will be a bad thing. One option is to make them cheaper, the oth...

The point I was trying to make is that due to the change in autobreak levels the only real difference between Superiors and Averages now is the reroll(unless you go to BG of 12 or greater). Yet the points(foot) remain the same. So why is that? I believe that the feeling is that currently the points...

More thoughts on points would be useful if you have any :D I think that Superior Armoured P/P Determined Horse at 17 points (compared to 21) are a bit too cheap and Average Armoured P/P determine Horse at 14 points (compared to 15) are still too expensive. 18 and 13 might be better or even a differ...

I was thinking about the proposal that protected mounted (i.e. those with CS) ignore better armour. This might be a bit much. They don't do this in the current rules. Consider a BG of Avg Arm P/P Hse with CS against a BG of Sup HvyArm P/P Hse. At impact, they are even so the unit with CS gets an ext...

Whilst we are not convinced that the original suggestion is wrong, an alternative one we would consider is 12 bases for 2 or 3 base (med/hvy) artillery BGs and 18 for 4 base ones (otherwise I think 4 base artillery BGs are getting too much of a "discount"). We're going with this one. :cry:

I like it and think that it is more logical now you are proposing to reduce re-rolls for troops fighting those with better armour. We used it in our play test tonight and it worked well.

We had an issue today on moving Dragoons.

What distance should they move when the only troops within 6 MU are routing? At this point in a battle, we would assume that they would mount up and be moving at 5MU until they came across unbroken enemy within 6 MU. However, what is the proposal?
