1946 Video Summary

I really enjoyed this video summary of 1946, and wanted to give it a highlight. https://www.youtube.com/embed/nGl-g4xHvto It really touches on the best nuances of 1946, not just mentioning atomic weapons, but their design and battlefield application. There are smart comments about the uniqueness of ...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1946 | Dev Diary #4

Developer note: The prestige price of the E series tanks is actually higher than what is seen here, as a result of the last round of balance changes. So they are incredibly expensive, expensive enough to drain huge prestige reserves and give even MORE incentives to pursue those rich bonus objectives!

Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure

I don't want to spoil anything, but I'll say two things about experience. It's a long campaign, 30 scenarios in size. I also tweaked the experience penalty a bit, so even a fresh unit can work it's way up in experience within the campaign if it starts early enough and sees enough action. Or maybe be...

Re: AO Generalissimus Alberto Bertorelli Adventure

Reading your rules there... maybe in 1946 you will consider allowing some Japanese units onto the limited roster rules.

Japanese units are used very interestingly in 1946, and it looks like it might fit your ruleset very uniquely.

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1946 | Dev Diary #1

As much as I am excited about my regular and Wunderwaffe cores in this upcoming campaign, this made me realize that poor general Bertorelli will really need to get creative with his forces to stand up to all of this new American tech. Bf 109's might not be enough. :D It might be a very interesting ...

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations - 1946 | Dev Diary #1

That text block under the Huckebein is supposed to read As you can see, it’s actually inferior in almost every stat and costs more than twice the prestige, but this is actually quite deceptive on first glance. The two stats the Huckebein trumps the Gotha over are movement speed, which is very import...

Re: 1946 Insider Articles

30 Scenarios for the invasion of America from the West Coast! It is a dream come true! Not just for the number of scenarios, but also because it's a first. The Germans with the help of the Japanese as combined invader force looks promising. It may also serves as a possible end if the Pacific DLCs w...

Re: 1946 Insider Articles

30 Scenarios with a core that is maxed out in any aspect. 5 stars, all awards, 3 heroes on each units. I main aspect of this whole game is to manage your core, that already was a huge problem in 1944/1945. I dont think there will be a lot of new units, so you we will nearly have to upgrade nothing....
