Re: Blitzkrieg France - Head On multiplayer quick finish
I verify. Never had that happen with the scenario before (to be fair, I've only played it a couple of times).

Re: Panther back from the Dead
It's happening again... Playing the Merr scenarios...I destroyed 2 of my opponents Panthers and grabbed an objective...when it came back to my turn, the objective was not in my control (the opponent didn't retake it, presumably they didn't even know it was captured) and one of the panthers was back ...

Re: Old Turn Reappears?
I was wondering what happened to our games Texassundown...server attack ate them. We'll have to try again once the dust has settled.

Re: no access
I'm getting the same error when I try to connect this morning...I guess the servers are still under attack? Ouch!
Keep the fight going strong guys! Good work...looking forward to getting back to the battles.

Re: Panther back from the Dead
I've been on both ends of this problem a few times now. I've seemingly destroyed tanks in my turn (and left my flank exposed to them, thinking them out of action) only to have them come back and blow me away! The odd thing is, my opponent didn't notice in that he didn't see the tanks get destroyed i...

Good questions. Yes, I would think that the threat should be assessed by the unit put into 'overwatch' and it would be directly related to itself. So an M5 won't see a truck as a threat (even if it is loaded with infantry...again, players choice) but would see a Puma as one and fire on it. I like yo...

Putting a hold-fire causes problems, because now your tanks risk letting a bunch of LOADED trucks zoom all around infront of it while immune to fire. I'd think that tank then DESERVES to die for letting those infantry unload right up to it free of risk, and BOOM, use a satchel charge on it. I'd be ...

Trucks can be armoured too, so now we have to work out some extra options to distinguish between the different trucks, and etc... and etc.. ...and... ughh... Armoured trucks?! Not sure I know of those, do you have any examples? Are they armed as well? Perhaps priority targeting could be based on po...

Along the lines of my 'Priority Targeting' concept. It could be a menu item that allows perhaps different settings. So 1) Shoot everything 2) Shoot Infantry/Armour 3) Shoot Armour only Overwatch tanks are often on the lookout for enemy armour, this might help and wouldn't be overly complicated (but ...

I'll admit my 'Priority' solution is preferred over restrictive movement (likely easier programatically as well). It's unlikely that a truck would get ordered to draw enemy tank fire...just as it would be unlikely that tanks would fire on them knowing there are other tanks about. Priority of target ...

Just wondering if there were some way to program a 'priority' targeting. So instead of just a hold fire, a tank could be set to 'priority' and will ignore trucks/halftracks being on the guard for other tanks. Or perhaps a refuse to budge programming on the trucks themselves. So that when a tank is i...

Thanks...I've just started looking at the info you have on the site. Looks like it will be a good resource. I haven't look at the editor too much but have some ideas for scenarios/campaigns into the liberation of Holland...will be interesting to see if this can accommodate that. Or perhaps an idea f...

I just finished this mission successfully. I found it challenging, but not frustrating. The key is to funnel the Germans into kill zones. Set up your AT assets in as much cover as possible (don't be fooled by the prepared positions, find key wooded areas). I kept units in reserve but the Germans nev...

Wow! Great game!
Picked up the demo the other day...hooked me right away. Bought the whole package and look forward to designing some scenarios (some of you may know me from Memoir '44).
Just wanted to say, great job on this! Brilliant stuff!!
Cheers!
