the tercios are really good if you can get into hand to hand combat...an early tercio will handle 3 pike and shot....but getting into combat without disrupting is very difficult, especially against an experienced player with a gentle hill near his base line for him to emplace his batteries snigger ...

It just worries me that large armies would extend playing time, which may discourage players from entering more periods, or increase a dropout rate. Moreover, a large Arab conquest would be just a nightmare. Then again, it does works well in EMA...now I'm just confused

A modest prayer in celebration of the divine's justice I feel Brian. We will continue our fast until all the papists are hurled back in to the abyss whence they came!
