. Also, comparing Slitherine to EA is pretty tasteless considering what Slitherine has just been through legally with EA. Uh, no idea of what you are talking about. Anyway, i was only making a comparisom between a big company and a modest (but full of entusiasm) like this. It has more merit and i f...

Making a map is not playing with the editor, putting some units...et voilá! Building a campaign is time consuming, maps need to be created, tested and carefully adjusted. This people...guess what? are game designers! They live of their work. Making and sellng games is their way of life. Imagine that...

For the Marder series... How to replicate the Ambush/Retreat doctrine ? Quite hard with the game philosophy. Not sure if this could be modelled in the current engine but a solution could be giving them a very high initiative value if attacked by other units, but lowering dreatically if you are usin...

Heroes An small icon (like the cross in PG2) on the unit to mark it have heroes attached. Name of cities and key hexes on map This would increase the flavour of the game. Since all cities have the same graphic it´s hard to tell one from another and scenarios looks all the same. This is Prokorovhka ...

I can see the guns, although it would be better if they had more contrasting colours compared to the terrain/main hull of the tank. At the moment they blend in with the terrain/rest of the tank and at first glance they can be hard to spot due to the camouflage. True, the gun of the Matilda is the s...

In the Blitzkrieg period Germans were able to defeat much better equipped allies, you could roam the countryside with PzII and PzIII and win. But, somehow, with later war equipment, the differences between AFV´s are so huge that unless you have Panthers or Tigers you are fried. I guess PzIV adn Stug...

Keep them as is with the hex occupancy but let them act as arty does. If in the adjacent hex of the defending unit; they get that supporting fire like artillery does. But like you said – this would only be against hard attackers. I think that´s the easiest way to fix them without messing with new m...

Ardennes...victory?
I´ve managed to get a victory in Ardennes scenario and, while i captured Antwerp, in the next scenario (Berlin) i am told that it was useless and find myself defending against both US/UK and the Soviet steamroller (you have to stay alive for 30 turns, an impossible task). What a letdown! I was expec...

Or, if allowing embarking/disembarking on same turn is too powerful, maybe an adjacent AT unit could give support to your own units the same way artillery does. Only at range 1 and against hard targets. If your unit is attacked by a tank, the AT gun could then make a previous round of fire to destro...

Whoops! i didn´t noticed that Shermans 76 shouldn´t be there. You are right. I have the feeling that they are already working in some extra scenarios to fulfil that gap and reworking on Normandy one. In any case Normandy is a walk in the park compared to what lies ahead (i´m talking about Berlin. I´...

A minor detail that could be added is a different marginal victory text in Moscow 1943. Now it´s the same that the 1941 one...damn Stalin! You always got away just a few days before i capture Moscow :D Also some text changes in Kursk map. After you capture Stalingrad and Baku is a bit irritanting re...

Hmm, this sounds realistic, though maybe not so much fun? LOL! Arguably, the Allies won the war, or at least ended it when they did, because, by the end of the war, the Luftwaffe was all but destroyed. The Allies had total control of the skies. Of course. But since i came to Normandy map after capt...

I think i´m going to take a rest until a patch is released with some adjustments and maybe a revamped campaign. I was getting a lot of fun until Normandy (90% of my core force was annihilated, no hope to make anything in Ardennes scenario). Panzer Corps is terrific but needs a bit of polish here and...
