The German and English installers are exactly the same. No difference where you buy.

Which version do you guys have? Is it a retail copy, which country etc? There have been a few issues like this recently and its something we dont normally see so I wonder if there is a pattern.

You could do it but you would have to mod them in. I'm not sure how clear it would be but you could experiement. You'd need to visit the Matrix forum for info on how to mod the game as the active community is over there.

Exactly - there is only an issue if you opened and saved your file with the 1.04 editor.

It is unlikely because there are 7 coming with the initial plan. The permutations would be enormous. There is also no way to deliver a different file - only one file can be delivered per product. It is just the way the system works.

The betas use a modified installer to the full patches so the bugs are not really an issue other than causing a distraction. The full release will not have these xml issues.

Its generally best to report the issues in separate threads and then have someone copy all new issues to a single thread where they can be tracked. Otherwise it gets too fragmented or too cluttered.
